Meeting was called to order @ 6:15

Next meeting, elections will be held for a new PR secretary.

There will be an organizational fair Wed., Sept 17, signups were passed around for those able to sit at the booth.

There will be a Pizza party Wed., Sept 3 in the Mountainlair so that everyone may get to know each other.

A barn orientation will be Sunday, Sept 14 at Valley Ridge Farm so that new members can see how things work, where to put tack, how to clean tack, groom, etc.

New members need to see officers for forms if have not already done so, and email Michele with available lesson times and a brief history of riding experience if have ridden before.

The possibility of a bake sale, a semi formal in October, and Big/Little Sisters/Brothers were discussed.

Next weeks meeting will be at 6 pm in the Mountaineer room of the Lair. If the DA says anything different DO NOT listen to it.
