He died 2 27 Oct 1972 in Townsend Township, Norfolk Co., Ontario and was buried 3 30 Oct 1972 in Greenwood Cemetery, Waterford, Norfolk Co., Ontario.
George was a tobacco labourer and dairy farmer, his farm was in RR#4 Waterford, Townsend Township, Norfolk, Ontario. He and Nellie married in the Manse at the United Church.

George's accident newspaper article: "An area man apparently died of a heart attack Friday night and fell off a tractor into the path of a corn stalk cutter, on his farm at RR#4, Waterford."

Richard married Angeline Joyce (Angie) MCKENZIE, daughter of Thomas MCKENZIE and Cathleen MISSABIE, on 29 May 1965 in United Church, Woodstock, Oxford Co., Ontario. Angeline was born about 1946 in Bear Island, Temougamie, Ontario. She died 1 1998 in Vancouver, British Columbia and was buried in Cremated.
Angie lived on the Bear Island Reserve in Timagami and she belonged to the Indian tribe Obijwa and belonged to Band #129. [O.C.P.C.P. 1966-616]. Angie was an extremely talented knitter and lived in British Columbia near Vancouver in the last 20 years of her life. See died suddenly.
