Hazelnut Cream Pie

MAKES: 8 servings
CRISPY RATING: Hazelnutty and smooth

Ingredients
  • 1 Reduced-fat Graham Cracker Pie Crust
  • 1-1/4 cups Cold Skim Milk
  • 2 Tbsp Hazelnut Flavor Instant Coffee
  • 2 pkgs (4 serv size) Sugar-free, Fat-free White Chocolate Instant Pudding
  • 1 tub Fat-free Cool Whip, thawed

1. Whisk together milk, coffee, puddings and half the cool whip.

2. Spread into crust.

3. Spread remaining cool whip on top.

4. This can be eaten immediately or kept in 'fridge.


MY NOTES AND THOUGHTS:

*1. My leader suggested that you can make this without the pie crust. Just place mixture into an 8 x 8 baking dish. 1/4 of the pan is only 3 points!

2. You can do all kinds of different flavors like this. Try, for example, other cream pies or Key Lime and lemon pies.

3. I'd also like to try a coconut pie by using a vanilla pudding and coconut extract. Or maybe light cocount milk, but that would certainly up the points a bit.
