Packers Win 23-10

1/11/98 On Sunday the Packers went into enemy territory and came out with an impressive win over the 4whiners. Brett Favre played flawless passing for 222 yards and a touchdown. Dorsey Levens had another stellar performace rushing for 114 yards and a touchdown. The defense perhaps played the best of all though, limiting the 49ers offense to 3 points, holding Garrison Hearst to 12 yards on 8 carries and limiting the big plays. Eugene Robinson's interception in the 2nd quarter turned the game into the Packers hands. Plays later Brett Favre hit Antonio Freeman with a KEY touchdown strike. The Packers went into halftime ahead 13-3 and in command. The second half was controlled by Dorsey Levens as he rushed for 88 yards. With 3 minutes to go the Packers were up 23-3 until Chuck Levy of the 49ers returned a kickoff 95 yards to make the score look respectable. The Packer move on to Super Bowl XXXII in San Diego against the Broncos.
