1974 July 29 - Croom Wildlife Reserve - While camping with friends Conrad and Nancy Paisley encountered a 7 ft. tall, dark, brown, hairy upright creature.  Other campers in the area reported hearing a strange creature that sounded somewhat like a go to. 

1974 September - Near Brooksville - Authorites in the Brooksvillel area wondered if maybe a monkey had escaped a zoo. This is because a monkey like creature was seen in a backyard near highway 98. Mr. and Mrs. Taylor saw this monkey like animal which stood at about 3 ft. tall and was very hairy. They claim that the animal made sounds somewhat like a baby crying. After investigations, no zoos reported any chimpanzee, monkey, ape or any such animal missing from their inventory.

1974 September 24 - Near Palm Beach - A 7 ft. tall, hairy, hulking creature was shot at six times by a security guard.  The security guard was working in an area with unfinished housing.  He said the creature came at him and would not stop.  He was forced to fire upon the creature who he believes he hit since it grabbed its chest and ran off.  He also says that the creature smelled like "rotten eggs". NOTE: very similar and possibly same story as 01-23-75.

1974 Late September - Near Brooksville - A shaggy haired, foul smelling, ape like creature was seen off of highway 50. The motorists were Elaine R. and her cousin.  They reported the incident to authorities.

1974 Mid October - Near Brooksville - Local sheriff in the Brooksville area had several reports coming in of a large hairy ape-like creatures in the vicinity.  Two women reported seeing such a creature sitting in the middle of a dirt road as they traveled on it.  When they saw the mysterious being, they made a U-turn and headed out in a hurry.  The sheriff investigated the area and found man like footprints.  One of the women who lives in the area, says that she had heard loud whistles and groans.  She also claims that something has beat on her trailer in the middle of the night. 

1974 October - Near Brooksville-a woman who live on Colorado Road on Highway 50 said she saw tall hairy, ape-like creature which stood about 5 ft. tall limping across her yard. 

1974 October - East of Fort Myers - The skunkape was in town!  A group of people saw the creature on a back road.  While traveling on the back road towards the highway they claim that the creature followed the car.  The incident was reported to the local sheriff which investigated the area to no avail.  

1974 November - Corkscrew Swamp - Several hunters went to the Corkscrew area in search of grouse, turkey and deer. It was about midnight and would happen next they will never forget. As they were making their way back to camp, they would hear footsteps following close behind them and sometimes beside. Every time they shown their flashlights in the direction of the footsteps they would see nothing. But once they would begin to walk again whatever it was that was following them would begin to walk as well. Suddenly they saw a pair of large orange eyes in front of them staring at them from the reeds. At first the eyes were low to the ground but the thing stood up. Once it was perfectly erect they can tell that it stood 7-8 ft. tall, was very hairy, and humanoid in appearance. The creature swung its unusually long arms from side to side as it was hunched over. Incredibly scared at what they were staring at they shot at the thing which screemed and ran off into the night. They gave chase and found blood and footprints, but never saw the creature again. They packed up and left in the morning.

1974 December 19 - A huge 7 ft. tall creature, was seen standing on the bank of the Weekiwatchi River.  The creature was seen by a man and a woman.  They say that the creature had extremely large hands, broad shoulders, was covered in black hair and had a short flat nose. 

1974 month unknown - Near Brooksville - Again the Brooksville area was the site of a skunk ape report, this time near highway 50 on a dirt road.  A tall, hairy, man-like creature was seen by three girls who lived on this road. 

1975 January - Pasco County - A strange beast was seen 22 mi. south of Brooksville.  Dairy farm workers spotted the tall, hairy, guerilla-like creature while herding cows.  They say the creature had amber colored eyes.  The beast made horrible howling screams as well as high pitched whistles. 

1975 January - Near Miami - A woman was riding down the Florida Turnpike when all of the sudden she swerved abruptly to miss hitting a huge the guerilla-like creature which was the road.  At first, she thought she had hit the thing.  She stepped out of vehicle and came face to face with a mysterious guerrilla-like being which she states was trying to communicate with through telepathy.  She believes that the creature was trying to tell her that it was hungry.

1975 Mid January - Florida City - Strange tracks were found at a Homestead Fisheries fish farm. Allen Goding found these strange five toad human-like footprints.  He notified authorities.  The tracks measured 12 X 6 in..

1975 January 23 - Near Miramar - Rookie police officer Kim Dunn reported seeing the skunkape crossing a road near town.  Dunn reported seeing a huge, hairy, bipedal creature loping across the road.  Investigations revealed nothing more. 

1975 Late January - Pasco County - The skunkape was back in town. Dairy farmer Richard Taylor saw the tall, hairy, man-like creature running through one of the milking sheds.  He claims that the creature had a limp and that it appeared the creature may have had an injured arm as well.  The creature had long shaggy black hair and smelled like a skunk.
