04/12/09:  I can't believe it has been nearly two years since I touched this site.  So much has happened in the past year, though....I was nearly killed in a car wreck, bedridden for four solid months (six weeks hospitalized), and then had to go through rehab....but doing much better.  Anyway, I just wanted to update with a link to a promo video that Terry and his family did for a popular sugar substitute.  You can find "Sweet Moves" at YouTube.  Enjoy!  I always knew Terry had class....check out Lola :-)

6/30/07:  I spent the whole day today watching old Mid-South/UWF, WCW, and WWF videos.  How I miss Terry Taylor and what wrestling meant in "The Glory Days!"  I even watched Terry's shoot video again.

I've been in a such tailspin the past few days since the news of Chris Benoit's death on Monday night's Raw. No, I don't watch WWE programs, but when my son came in and announced this, we turned it on and watched for a few minutes.  I was stunned.  Chris soon became a huge favorite of mine back in WCW about 11 years ago when I first saw him.  I found him to be one of the best technical wrestlers ever, plus the fact that his last name was Benoit scored big points.  My mom's mother's maiden name was Benoit, and her family came here from Canada.  I always felt a kinship with him and felt maybe he was a very distant relative.  My son has tons of PPV events saved on the system, so I will eventually watch his fights in WWE.  I just watched all of the "tribute" yesterday, and I finally cried.  I couldn't get over the initial shock of hearing he was dead when I saw the notice on WWE that they were now saying it was a double murder-suicide which shocked me even more.  In the days that have followed, I've read every article posted, and my emotions have gone from shocked to extremely shocked to totally mad to totally sad to totally confused, and now, well, I'm just extremely sad.

I mean, I get the facts at their home, and it looks exactly as it is being reported.  Chris killed Nancy and Daniel then himself.  The phone calls were filled with lies, and those text messages were definitely strange, in and of themselves, to further prove that scenario is correct.  The question remains why?  I feel certain nobody will ever truly know.  We can only speculate, and I really believe that even toxicology reports will not tell us why.  I've gone over several theories in my head, but still, none of this makes sense.  I was just reading at one website with a long timeline on it, and there's a last known picture of Chris on it (Friday last week).  When I clicked on it, I about fell over at what he looked like....unshaven, dirty, and psychotic looking.  It was scary to see him like that.  I also read that Nancy's parents are planning to file a civil suit.  Okay, fine, but my question is who the hell are they going to sue?  I also read that Chris' father really wants to know what the tox report says to see if there's any drug in there that might explain why his son did this.  He seems completely torn up :-(  My heart bleeds for Daniel.  That poor child!  My heart bleeds for Chris' family.  My heart hurts!

It's really hard for me to believe that Chris did this.  Is this really what happened or does that anonymous poster from CT know more than we do?  I read that his computer has been confiscated now by police.  Someone could have killed them all and set it up to look like a murder-suicide, including the text messages; however, that doesn't explain the last phone calls Chris had.  I mean, it's obvious they knew they were talking to Chris.  However, maybe there was someone there forcing Chris to say these things, and they are the one who killed Nancy and Daniel and then killed Chris.

That anonymous post 14 hours before anyone else knew about the deaths is REALLY, REALLY strange.  The poster claims it was a complete coincidence, but they discovered this person is only two miles from the WWE headquarters, and it doesn't explain the other post from Australia.  It's just too weird to be a coincidence!  It'll be interesting to see what the police discover in that seized computer and what the toxicology reports say, but will there be any concrete answers?  I fear the answer to that is no.

I don't know why, but I can't hate Chris.  I feel sorry for him, and I mourn him :-(  Even if he did this, it's very obvious he had developed some pretty severe demons rather suddenly, and it's sad that he didn't get the proper help he needed.  I can't explain myself, but it hurts :-(

03/28/06:  I haven't updated this site in so long due mainly to the fact that I don't have any updates on TT--he seems to be hiding behind the scenes at TNA, and I just know nothing anymore.  I did watch a TNA program a few weeks ago, but I was not impressed at all.

Anyway, I did want to write a few comments about a wrestler who recently passed away very suddenly on February 16, Mike Durham, bka Johnny Grunge of Public Enemy.  I think I saw PE a few times on WCW years ago and never really liked them (have to be honest here), but when I heard of Mike's death, I was  quite shocked, as well as moved, to find out that he was a native of my hometown.  I never knew that, cause I guess it was just never said in public.  There were quite a few segments on the local NBC station in tribute, and it was just so sad to hear his best friend from SHS days talk about him, his days as a wrestler at SHS, how close they were, and to find out that he was his dying mother's only child.  Mike had just visited home a couple of weeks before his tragic death, and here he was coming back home again to his final resting place.  Mike leaves a wife and two young sons.  When I saw his senior photo from SHS, I couldn't help but say what a nice looking kid and then think how he looked nothing like that as Johnny Grunge!!!!!  He has a lasting memorial at mem.com, so check it out.  RIP, Mike!

04/27/05: My new photos arrived today, and I will be scanning and posting ASAP. Many are old publicity photos I used to have, so I'm thrilled to have them back :-)

04/21/05: I couldn't believe my eyes, but there is now an "official Terry Taylor web site." Yall check it out.. http://www.terrytaylor.info/ :-)

PS: Get ready to see a %$#*-load of new photos that I just won on Ebay yesterday :-) I won an old "personal photo album" with over 100 photos in it from the early 80s. Yay :-)

01/10/05: I found out Terry is still with TNA afterall, working behind the scenes! It's not a surprise that he is so valuable there :-)

01/06/05: PLEASE NOTE: While I appreciate everyone signing the book, I'm a bit upset that Terry is being portrayed in such a bad way. Even if it's all true, defaming him like this is just totally tasteless! This site is dedicated to his CAREER and not his "personal life. "I mean, the guy has been married since June 1985, and many of these tabloid-type postings refer to times AFTER that, which definitely speaks horribly about him. Let's keep things clean, okay? Please make these entries private if you must divulge such information. Thanks much.

05/23/04: Terry's bio, photo, and mention of him being a trainer at TNA has been removed. So, it seems as if he did quit!

05/17/04: Well, that didn't last long at all: http://www.fullthrottlewrestling.com/news.html. Terry already quit. It's really, REALLY hard keeping up with good ol TT. He makes me dizzy *lol* I don't know if he'll continue on with TNA or what now.

05/11/04: Well, I had heard a rumor last week that Terry was leaving "TNA," and now I find FTW....Check this out--http://www.fullthrottlewrestling.com/taylor.html. Wow! I wish Terry all the best in this adventure. I'm secretly wishing this will take off, become more like Mid-South, and spread like wildfire throughout the south :-)

04/24/04: As I mentioned, TNA has opened up a wrestling academy, headed by trainers, Terry Taylor and Scott D'Amore. You can find out more @ http://www.nwatna.com/academy/, and even see a recent photo of TT (a fabulous photo, too).

Also, it was recently reported on RSPW on April 19: "Terry Taylor, whose bright career took a nosedive when the then-WWF cast him as The Red Rooster during the late ''80s, underwent back surgery Monday to fuse three vertebrae in his neck. Taylor, who had experienced numbness in his hands, is expected to resume his backstage duties with NWA-TNA this week."

02/07/04: Just thought I'd update on the TT situation. He is still working for TNA (behind the scenes in the production truck) and will be heading up their new wrestling school with his friend, Scott D'Amore (BCW).

09/24/03: The talk for the past few weeks has been that Terry is with NWA-TNA now. I really don't know much more than that. I haven't seen any written words regarding Terry at their website, but I have seen pictures of him conducting interviews. I heard he was actually wrestling tonight. It's too bad they are on PPV :-( I would love to be able to tune in.

08/12/03: HAPPY 48TH, TERRY AND MANY, MANY MORE!!!! :-)

07/27/03: "Oh no.....not again!"

Well, did I predict it or what? No, I won't say, "I told you so", but......it is burning on my tongue *lol* Terry Taylor was fired from that nasty old WWE on July 14. Sources say he was called on the telephone and told. Is that low or what, then again what could anyone expect from that place?! Ah well....maybe **now** he has learned his lesson...hopefully it's over. God, I hope so. I can't help but feel sorry for him, but....he has no one to blame but himself. He should have known better than going back there :-(

05/04/03: I just had to update regarding the recent loss of "Miss Elizabeth". I was shocked to hear this news, especially of the "overdose". Of all the women in wrestling, she was the ONLY one I ever adored or even liked. She was absolutely beautiful and had so much class! It's terribly sad how she ended up :-( "Lex Luger" was a favorite of mine for a time, too, but now I really have nothing good to say about him. How tragic! I would have never suspected either one of these people to be drug-users, and it goes to show that outside appearances are not always true to form.

Today would've been my dad's 82nd birthday :-( It's hard to believe he has been gone nearly 19 years now :-(

Something else I wanted to mention was the fact that, for a while now, I had been wishing and hoping to buy a copy of "The Von Erich Story, A Family Album: A life of Triumph and Tragedies". Well, as much as I wanted this book, I was not willing to pay the stiff prices I had seen on Ebay or Amazon. This is an OOP book, but still, it was going for up to $250. Well, not long ago, I was checking around again and found one for--get this--$20!! Without blinking an eye, I got it, but I really thought this was a mistake in printing (I mean, nobody was selling that book under $100 before). The seller stated it was not in mint condition since the dust jacket was missing. Well, all I thought was "who cares?" When I received the book, I was in complete shock. I had understood this was a paperback. NOT! It's an oversized hardback loaded with stories and photos, and it's one of the best buys I ever made :-) I'm proud to have this book for my collection, even though I feel like I stole it *grin*

01/06/03: Happy 2003!!!! I was visiting BCW last night and found a very touching good-bye letter to BCW by the infamous Terry Taylor. If you're interested, you can find it here. I truly loved what he had to stay about Mark :-) It's all so true! Way to go, Mark!!!! :-)

11/4/02: The finalé.......Here's what Terry has to say about his new job! How sad. It's terribly upsetting to me since this means an end to what was great for a time. Terry has disappointed me beyond comprehension--my heart is broken! I always had this one image of Terry in my mind that he was not the type of person who would support all this type of garbage, that he was better than that, but it appears I'm wrong, and it is so hard to accept that one of my favorite people in the world turns out to be someone I'm not very proud of right now! So goes life, I guess! I cannot and will not waste my time or energy on the WWE in general. Unless things change again in the future (I predict we will have a repeat of history here!), this site is basically closed!!!!! It has been fun up until now! Don't get me wrong here, Terry will always be #1, but.....I have nothing left to write about right now.

Long live the memories!!!!! I will treasure them forever!!!!!

10/23/02: It has become official. Terry is back with WWE :-( I was reading a few boards/newsgroups regarding this, and someone said it best when he wrote that it was like Terry was an abused wife humbly going back to the abusive husband. Hasn't he been bruised enough? I guess not! He is blinded by the almighty dollar, I suppose.

And, now with all the extremely HOT controversy regarding the Monday Night Raw (necrophilia, from what I've read!!!), I can't wait to hear what Terry says about it. If I were him, I'd be running away as far as I can and disassociate myself from WWE and Vince once and for all. I've always made it quite well known how I feel about the WWF/WWE and good old Vinnie. So, it is no surprise to me how low he has stooped with this new storyline. I quit watching ages ago, and when I had enough of WCW, I quit watching them. However, no matter how bad WCW had gotten, they were no where near the fiasco Vince calls "wrestling". What he has is a huge carnival sideshow with a bunch of freaks. It has always been pretty bad, but fans tolerated it and continued watching until NOW.

99% of the fans who watch are ticked off and have made blatant statements that they will not watch again. Good for them! Send that satanic idiot, VM, a huge message right to his pocketbook. Force his company to go down the toilet, and perhaps more indys will develop and wrestling will be wrestling again!

The WWE wanted controversy and they got it. I'm afraid, however, they didn't expect a boycott! Boy, were they ever wrong!

From pedophilia (real accusations of such) to a 70 yo woman getting pregnant to necrophilia (in storylines)! Yep, that's definitely "logical and sophisticated"! I really don't care that the necrophilia reference was an act. It is not something the majority of people want to associate themselves with, and those who do want to need psychiatric help desperately. Vince has done a lot of bad stuff before in his storylines, but this is the ultimate of lows!

Someone recently wrote, "What next, Chris Jericho was molested by a priest when he was a child?" I fear this person is right! :-(

One person in support of the necrophilia scene talks of Marilyn Manson's popularity in reference to this necrophilia scene. See my previous rantings from 12-14-01 for what I think of that. It goes without saying that my comments regarding today's wrestling versus yesteryear holds so true!

As much as I hate to say it, if Terry continues to associate with such trash, I have to give up following his career. There is a time to draw the line, and what Vince and company are doing is it. He and his company are a huge mockery of what used to be a great "sport", and I don't want to associate myself with such, which also means *anyone* working for them! As painful as that is for me, so be it! I cannot and will not waste my time on the WWE!

Horrific, vile, and disgusting are just not enough words to describe the WWE and their actions :-(

Long live the "glory days" -- if only we could have those days back again!!!!

10/17/02: Terry is back again today with more of the same WWE b.s. YAWN! From what I hear about what is going on in the WWE, I just can't imagine him being involved in that. The words that I often hear to describe the WWE antics are **vile** and **infantile**! Terry is neither. So, why associate with that? I guess the old saying of money talks and b.s. walks will always hold true. Most people will do just about anything for the good old $$$$!!! :-(

I'm aggravated that he starts a story to be continued next week and then forgets about it, leaving those interested in it just hanging. He even writes he doesn't have a particular topic to discuss! Grrrr.......

The joke about retirement was cute, though, and I'm curious about his "good news" of being in the great city of New Orleans Saturday night. If I didn't have to work weekend call, I would find out when and where, and I'd make a point of being there -- it's 200 miles from here. That would be awesome, though, and very worth the price of admission, the gasoline, etc.! So much for my luck :-(

I have to state that I received a lovely e-mail yesterday from a young fella (age 31) who had visited this site and complimented me on it. It brought back a lot of memories for him of the "glory days", and he just wanted to thank me. I can't even begin to state how good I feel over that :-)

10/08/02: The reason I haven't updated in a few weeks is caused I've been super busy between work, the kids/grandkids, my personal life, a major career change and decision, serious hurricane threats (Isidore, who was coming right at us and then veered off to the east and hit the New Orleans area, and Lili, who was a major category 4 storm - we dodged a major bullet with her, as she was heading straight to us and then veered off to just 30 miles east of us and then went north), and besides, what's there to update on? Terry Taylor is associating himself with the WWE again. That's not exactly good news! Personally, I think it's suicide! Nuff said! The previous TMT was all about his latest career move.

Today's TMT is more of the same, except for the ant business and the septic tank talk -- that was hilarious!

So, I'm basically bored with the TMTs right now! I was dying to hear what happened in Hollywood, but.......

I've been focusing a lot on my hero, Robert F. Kennedy, and I think I'll continue to do that for the time being! :-)

09/12/02: All I can say about today's TMT is ROFLMAO! I was laughing so hard at points that I cried! I needed this lighthearted boost to my mood :-) Thanks, TT!!!!! This is yet another reason why Terry should write a book! This is just so personal and yet so open and honest. It's down-to-earth! So....so.....NORMAL!!!! :-) He's a regular human being just like most of us are! We tend to idolize our favorite "stars" to the point that we don't think of them a "regular humans", ya know, and it's nice to see just how human they really are. (It's hard to explain, but....let's see if I can try even more with this. I was raised a very strict Catholic and went to Catholic school grades 1-8. I was scared to death of nuns and priests and thought of them as "above human" beings. Imagine my shock to hear one of my favorite priests curse in public in front of kids when he smashed his thumb while hammering! LOL Imagine my shock to see and hear one of our nuns (a teacher) scream at and curse at another teacher (a lay teacher) for some unethical practices he performed in our class! Or imagine my shock to learn that one of our priests or nuns had left the order to get married!!!! YIKES! No, it all proved they are regular human beings! That's all!)

Anyway, I can't stop laughing, though, at the thought of Terry having nightmares of ants and exploding out of bed, cause they're after him for emptying two cans of ant killer on them!! LOL

I can relate so much, but at this house, it's the killer mosquitoes that I was having nightmares of -- they were finding their way into my house, and I was emptying cans of spray on them like mad in the middle of night while the kids were sleeping. I was scared to death (literally) of being bitten and getting the dreaded West Nile virus thing that has taken over our state :-( Ah well....thankfully, I haven't been bitten yet!

My other favorite part of this is about the nearly naked young guy in the fish tank combing his hair and using a cell phone! I can only imagine the look on Terry's face when he saw this --trying to be cool but wanting to run at the same time. My daughter and I were sitting here reading and dying laughing, when this edition of TMT ended, and that's when my chin hit the floor! Damn! I absolutely hate a cliffhanger! LOL I want to know what happened NOW (throwing a temper tantrum like a spoiled rotten two-year-old) LOL

I can relate to what he writes, cause when I see something similar (aka OUT OF THE ORDINARY/HIGHLY UNUSUAL), I just don't know how to handle it. However, I tend to totally give my shock away when my eyes nearly pop out of my head! LOL

My life is passing by fast enough that I don't need or want to throw it away, but I can't wait till the next edition so I can find out what happened next!!!! My mind is in a hurricaine state right now LOL

See ya!

08/29/02: Terry is back today with a very disheartening TMT. I have no idea who this "promoter" is that he speaks of, but that man deserves to have legal action taken against him in both criminal court and civil court. I hope Terry doesn't just chalk this up as "a lesson learned". What this promoter did is ILLEGAL! It is a fraudulent act, and something should be done to punish him. From what it sounds like, this promoter is in deep ^*&% and rightfully so! For more information on fraud, check out http://www.fraud.org/welcome.htm. The world is full of scam artists (on line and in every day life), and we need to do everything we can to put an end to it. Seek help from law enforcement and take whatever steps necessary to bring charges against the perpetrators!!!!!

08/15/02: Today's Al's Scoops is going to push ol TT over the edge *grin* Al writes: "Terry Taylor is up in Canada this week. He'll be back next week with a new column. And yes, I've told him about your comments on the message board for a book." LOL Terry may just be forced into writing a book despite his insistence against it. YIPPEEEE!!!!!

AUGUST 12, 2002: HAPPY, HAPPY BIRTHDAY, TERRY!!!

08/08/02: Today's TMT is another great story from Terry's wrestling days. I had to laugh about the Dusty thing. It's odd how rumors go. I was always told Dusty is who helped ruin Terry's career, but nobody ever gave reasons why Dusty would be so mean. Now, we know *lol* Terry got caught imitating Dusty and suffered for it. Then again, what's that old saying about "imitation being the sincerest form of flattery"???? I guess Virgil missed the boat on that one *lol*

I think the story is uplifting, though. It has a few lessons to be learned from it, one of which is the famous "do unto others" (it works MOST times), and the other is how history will come back and bite you in the butt (the RR thing and people imitating Terry -- remember, it's flattery when you do that!!!).

Honestly, IMO, Dusty is a piece of crap. There was a time I really liked him (back in the old days with Dick Murdock), but I grew to dislike him after that. Anyway, that was a hard lessoned learned for Terry, to say the least.

Ah well, IMO, who cares? The best of his wrestling career (as a wrestler) was, and still is, from the years spent with Mid-South/UWF!

Ol Virgil may have learned a lesson, as well....look at his own career and look at Dustin's "career"! *lol* There have been some really disgusting and horrible "characters" in the 41 years I've been around wrestling, but that Golddust character is one of the worst, and my God, that outfit Virgil wore in the WWF with the big yellow polka dots -- ROFLMAO! Golddust always comes to my mind immediately when someone mentions the worst gimmick in wrestling history.

The Red Rooster was very MILD in comparison!!!! (Terry has one big one over on Virgil in that regard!)

08/02/02: Here's another great TMT from Terry Taylor on what it's like to be a "vintage wrestler", which is very entertaining.

However, he then ends it with soliciting a liver donor from wrestlers for "Superstar" Billy Graham, which is very curious, indeed! I just watched a program where Billy Graham was interviewed and talked about steroid use and how it badly affected him. Could this liver disease be from his chronic steroid use?

Some side-effects:

* Acne
* Cancer
* Cholesterol increase
* Heart disease
* Water retention
* High blood pressure
* Jaundice
* Liver disease
* Male pattern baldness
* Shrunken testicles
* Prostrate enlargement
* Sterility
* Stunted growth
* Kidney damage

All steroids can elevate liver enzymes. The injectable, water-based suspension of testosterone, commonly used by bodybuilders, is highly toxic to the liver. Steroids can cause severe hepatic dysfunction.

That is scarier than hell! And, there's much more :-( For more info, check this out - http://www.cyberiron.com/drugs/steroid.html

Why ANYONE would want to do this to their body is unreal!!

Terry writes: “There is no greater satisfaction than to give new life to another.” I couldn't agree more...and nobody knows that better than a *woman who has given birth to babies*!!!

07/25/02: Terry is once again back today with another great TMT :-) I've seen highlights of that Superdome match from vintage video (MS's Power something-or-other program), but the matches highlighted from the Superdome were so dark that it was really hard to see :-( I wish I could have been there, though. The story about Ric Flair being sound asleep right before the title match is hilarious! Even though New Orleans is my favorite city to visit, unfortunately, it is well known for boozing and living it up on Bourbon Street. I'm proud to say I'm one of very few who have never done that! :-) Oh, yes, I have been on Bourbon Street a few times, but I wasn't boozing it up like he describes -- just looking around and that is more than enough to make one's head spin completely around *lol* I prefer to go to the "moonwalk" in front of Jackson Square/St. Louis Cathedral and watch the river and bridge or turn around and look at the cathedral itself -- it's all GORGEOUS!

Anyway, it's refreshing, again, to read about the "old days" :-) I'm glad Terry smiles when he remembers :-) How I wish we could get those days back now -- hey, what about a Mid-South reunion?! :-) I dream on.....

I received a video yesterday that I got off E-Bay about "wrestling scandals", but I bought it for segments on the Von Erich tragedies.

Anyway, my question is where was I when all the scandals and crap were going on? How could I have missed Vinnie Mac and the issues of steroids and sexual molestation/sexual harassment? One of the men accused (PP) of molesting young boys and harassing young wrestlers/referees is STILL working for Vince, and Vince himself was accused of sexual abuse! Hmmm! The famous Hulk Hogan admitted he had used steroids "a few times"! Now, how's that for a "hero"! It all made me sick! How can anyone honor such a rotten person and/or his federation :-(

I'm still nauseated from hearing the "testimonies" and from seeing that piece of scum (VM).

07/11/02: Terry is back today with yet another BRILLIANT TMT called "Booking Wrestling 101". The man never ceases to amaze me! I've always thought of Al Isaacs as an extremely smart man, and now it is confirmed -- one of his favorite periods of wrestling was from the Mid-South/UWF era, 1984-1987. Granted, Mid-South started way before that and was really HOT, but, needless to say, I have to agree with Al cause I'm just a bit biased about a certain MS/UWF star that just happened to come along at the beginning of 1984 *grin* It still breaks my heart over what happened to the UWF, though :-( Can you just imagine what would have happened if Bill Watts had been able to get more funding to keep the UWF alive instead of selling it off to Jim Crockett Productions?! My heart skips beats just thinking about it *grin* Here was this little federation surpassing the NWA and kissing the WWF's tail....the what if's are endless. I firmly believe the UWF would be the top fed right now if it hadn't been sold off and ruined by JCP. So much for "what if's", though. It doesn't change the history of what really happened and never will, but it's so nice to think about it!!

I do, however, love the fact that history often does repeat itself :-) It's the old "what goes around, comes around" thing. It took a long time to happen, but happen it did.

Now, it'll be interesting to see what happens with Jerry Jarrett's new federation. I just hope he remembers that old cliché -- "what goes around, comes around". I feel history will come back and bite him on the rear *grin*

The main problem with all the jealousy of one fed over another is the fact that the one remaining standing at all times is the old grandpa, the WWF (or, as I stand corrected at the present time, the WWE) :-( Ugh!

Hmm.....I hate what I'm thinking, but what exactly is that telling us?!

07/10/02: I listened to Kevin Von Erich's audio interview (from 1-20-02) earlier today, and wow, it was really fantastic! I just adore this man. He's so down to earth and not stuck up -- just a real human being all around with no gimmicks. I regret so much that I never got to see him wrestle in person :-( Anyway, he told of an interesting piece of trivia during the interview -- the Von Erich name is actually his grandmother's maiden name! It's a really great interview, so check it out -- and it's high time somebody out there gives Kevin and his family the respect and credit they deserve! This is really priceless! :-)

There was some talk of Terry Taylor by the interviewers, but oh how wrong they are! They were talking about how many great stars came out of WCCW and mentioned Terry Taylor was one, making it sound like Terry got his start there. Ugh, 'scuse me! Let's get this straight, boys! Terry Taylor was already a MAJOR star before he ever went to Texas for the few month stent there in February 1988. Anybody who knows the facts can easily clarify that *grin* Terry got his start in his home state of Florida in September 1979, according to his own words, but, with all due respect, his *major stardom* came when he hopped over a few states to this one in January 1984 -- he even admits that! :-) Ah, the &quoot;;;glory days"!!

06/27/02: There's another new TMT today, but BLAH, BLAH, BLAH! I'm growing really tired of this blather. As far as his comments on Steve "Austin" Williams, I'm choking on them. The man is NOTHING but pond scum, IMO -- always has and always will be.

Now on to bigger and better things. I want to say another big thank you to Scott D'Amore and Border City Wrestling :-) I received the tapes yesterday. My youngest three and I watched the August show last night, and I must say I was highly impressed with what I saw. My kids even enjoyed it. This tape, unlike the one I received back in January from October, is very professional in quality and was a pleasure to watch. We'll probably watch the other tape tonight which is a "best of" TV tape :-) Besides the fact that Terry Taylor was on this show, I got to see Scott in action in an eight man elimination match. Overall, it was great action, and I'm really impressed. I saw a few young wrestlers who really impressed me, as well, and then there are wrestlers like Cyrus and Dux who completely and totally ruin me :-( Terry looked as great as ever, of course. I'm still amazed how young he looks! Now, his tag team partner left a lot to be desired, but....I didn't like him much in WCW, and that has not changed. I forget his "real name", but he's that ridiculous Disco person. Oh well!

Many, many thanks again to Scott, Mark, and BCW! Keep up the great work guys!!!! :-)

06/06/02: Well, FINALLY, we have a new TMT, but I'm disappointed. Terry did not enlighten us as to who he thinks killed JFK :-( I waited all this time for nothing :-(

This edition of TMT has me mourning for wrestling :-( I need to get out some of the vintage wrestling videos again, 'cept I don't have the time :-( I've been way too busy here lately to remember my own name :-(

I miss WCW. Even when I hated it, I loved it. I miss Sting. I miss Chris Benoit. I miss Roddy Piper. Hell, I even miss Ric Flair and Eric Bischoff -- Oh God! It's time to commit me! *lol*

I *really miss* the golden days -- the glory days -- and always will. Whherrre is Bill Watts these days anyway? Maybe he could put together a new federation that will sink Vinnie Mc! I know.....it's just a dream, so sue me! *lol*

I finally got news on my missing BCW tape -- it was mailed out a while back but never arrived here. So, I have it on good authority (from Scott D'Amore himself) that he is mailing it to me, along with a special tape. I am so very impressed with Scott through the mails we traded! I can't wait to see him wrestle on these two tapes :-) Thanks a million, Scott!

Hi, Mark!!!! :-)

5-27-02: Happy Memorial Day to all who celebrate this holiday! It's just another ordinary day around here. The kids are in school, and I have to work this afternoon/evening. We did have a BBQ yesterday, which was great. All my kids were here except one, as she had to work. It drizzled on us occasionally, too, but it kept it fairly cool. Today is a holiday for me of sorts -- it was 28 years ago that I graduated high school :-) WOW! Time flies!!!

There hasn't been a TMT in over a month now -- Terry's probably still trying to find out who really killed John F. Kennedy :-( So, there's not much to update on regarding the subject of this site :-(

However, on Al's recommendation, I bought the DVD "Memento". That was one of the strangest movies I've ever seen, and I didn't like it at all :-( My daughter and I watched it last night, and we were both pretty freaked out over it. It's a movie that will drive you insane trying to keep up with what is what and who is really who! Very strange!

I also watched the HBO special on the WTC disasters, and that just depressed me to no end :-( I went to sleep last night seeing the planes crashing into the towers, people jumping out of the towers, and the towers crumbling down :-( UGH!

Speaking of, I re-watched Armageddon a few weeks back and really freaked out over it. At the beginning, you see meteors crashing into the twin towers, and that is just too much of a coincidence! I mentioned that to my good friend in NY, and she didn't catch that the first time she saw the movie, either. Back then, it was just a movie scene, but now it has more meaning!

Also, there's a verse in Rhymes and Reasons by John Denver that is freaky, as well. "Like the music of the mountains and the colours of the rainbow, they're a promise of the future, and a blessing for today. Though the cities start to crumble and the towers fall around us, the sun is slowly fading and it's colder than the sea". How odd!!!!

05-13-02: I hope all you moms out there had a glorious "Mother's Day" :-) I sure did :-) My mom and her husband came over, and all my kids and grandkids were here. We all sat outside the whole time and pigged out on boiled crawfish, corn, and potatoes. The babies had a blast playing in their little pool and with the water hose. It was downright hilarious most times, especially with my grandson. He would NOT leave the hose alone and would put the water in his face which caused some hilarious reactions from him. They were just priceless!

Anyway, today's update is not regarding the "weekly" TMT, cause there hasn't been one since April 25th :-( It is, however, regarding the subject of this site, Terry Taylor. I read Al's Scoops this morning, and it is mostly about Terry. I wasn't surprised at what Al had to say, but I'm quite impressed by it all :-) If you haven't been following Al's Scoops, you won't know what I'm talking about. So, let me explain a bit. Lou Thez was a dear friend of Al's, and when the WWF did not honor Lou (or Wahoo), it tore Al apart and made him think twice about the "business". I won't even go into how I feel about the WWF, as it's pretty obvious. Anyway, Al went up to CA last week and met Terry for some meetings. Apparently, they went to some matches for UPW (whatever that is). In a nutshell, Terry's presence shocked many of the wrestlers, and they were excited to see him there. I don't know who Nova is, but he used to be with ECW and now is a signee for the -- ahem -- WWF. Anyway, Terry had approached him right away and told him he loved watching him wrestle when he was a kid. To make a long story short, this was to be Nova's last match, and he was given an ovation and all that. Then Nova left the ring and approached Terry where he was standing with Al, shook his hand, and thanked him. The respect Nova showed for Terry was priceless, I gather, and it gave Al the sign he needed to continue on. As Al writes, Nova did not have to do that -- he chose to do it, and it made all the difference in the world to Al.

Swallowing my pride as I type this, I will definitely have to tune in to the WWF and at least see who Nova is. I never heard of him until today (well, not by that name anyway), but I gotta "meet him".

Al made a comment that The new WWF signee was thrilled to see Taylor, as was the rest of the crew who treated him with a great deal of respect. I can honestly tell you that Terry is one of the (if not the) most humble and self-effacing guys you could ever meet. Then he goes on to say, In fact, I can pretty much guarantee I'll be catching grief for writing this later on. All I can say about that last comment is "if the truth hurts, so be it" *grin*

Many thanks to Al for such a great "scoop" today :-) It's definitely very uplifting!!!

04-25-02: The TMT is back today after a short absence, and I'm definitely glad to hear that all is well with Terry's health. In all my years of being in the medical profession, however, I had yet to hear of "Althlete's Heart Syndrome". Then again, I'm really not into "Sports Medicine" by any means of that aspect of medicine, either. I'll have to check out the link in more detail, though. At any rate, thank God all is well :-) Terry's writes that he was "scared sh**less" over the whole ordeal, and rightfully so. He's still VERY young, and I can only imagine the stress this caused him (and his family). It caused me undue stress, and I don't even know him! I just thank God he's doing great :-)

Speaking of stress......if stress really kills people, I have to sit here and wonder why I'm still alive *lol* Man, I don't think I've ever been so stressed out in all of my near 46 years before the past couple of weeks. I won't go into all the details, but I thank God I have a strong state of mind. Otherwise, I would be institutionalized right now and not even know my own name! Being pulled in 20 directions at once by various members in my family is taking it's toll on me slowly but surely. However, the good news is I'm still 90% sane *grin*, and I'm having less stress today than I was the past two weeks. One of the stressors is turning into a good one now, I think, but ony time will tell. They say time heals all wounds, but I really don't know if these wounds will heal or not. We're working on it, though. I think the late and great John Denver said it best in his song, "Some Days Are Diamonds, Some Days Are Stones." I'll take diamonds ANY day, though :-)

At any rate, I'm looking forward to the next installment of TMT to see who Terry thinks shot JFK! (I already know who was behind that conspiracy. *grin*)

4-11-02: Terry is back today with TMT, but it's such a sad, SAD article :-( This edition deals with Amy Robinson's death, who was the wife of ex-WCW referee, Charles Robinson. I loved Charles and thought he was great. I wish him well and hope he can overcome this great loss :-(

I was hoping to hear the update about his heart condition, but....

03-30-02: I got a little bit of news from Al's Scoops yesterday on Terry's "heart condition", and here it is: "Some good news from Terry yesterday regarding his heart condition. I don't want to speak too soon as he still undergoes a stress test today, but I'm breathing a small sigh of relief. I'll let him talk about it himself next week." Now, I can't wait till the next installment of TMT to find out what's going on. I pray all is good!!!

03-28-02: Today's TMT is very touching and, IMO, is back on track :-) Terry's honesty and openness is really uplifting!!! More surgery? Geez! I'll be thinking about him on the 2nd and hoping all is well. Good luck and a speedy recovery to Terry! :-)

I loved this story about the 16 year old TT and the very old man in his 30s *lol* How ironic! Just two days ago, my nearly 19 year old daughter was telling me how this other grandmother came into the store, and she said, "Mom, you should have seen her. She was real old, but, sorry, she looked much younger than you do." When I asked how old she was, I nearly wrecked my van! *lol* 34! My response was, "Considering she's 11 years younger than I am, she would look much younger than I am, and I can't wait till you get "old" so I can hear you say it's not so old afterall." *lol* Kids! *lol* I do remember, however, being 16 and feeling that 30 was "very old". Then, you get there, and it's not old at all. I'm nearing 46 faster than I want to, but I don't consider myself old. When I turn 83 like my favorite co-worker, or some of my family members and can still function as they do, I still won't be old *lol*

03-21-02: Today's TMT is once again about Hulk Hogan :-( Ugh!! I can't stand him as a wrestler. He's not too bad as an actor, and from what I know of him as a *real person*, he seems great. However, I have a problem with separating Hulk Hogan from Terry Bolea or vice versa. They seem to go hand in hand, and the end outcome is that I just can't stand him.

In an article dated June 1, 1985, the author states: Taylor is very proud of his profession and does not like anyone who does anything to hurt the sport. Terry Taylor is quoted as stating: "I think the people in New York, like Hulk Hogan, are hurting the profession," explained Taylor. "What they lack in wrestling ability, they make up with show biz. That is OK there, because with millions of people to draw from, you don't have to give your best all the time to get the audience to come back."

My question is: What gives here? Maybe he forgot he ever said that!?

The "Make A Wish Foundation" *is* a special program, and I do admire anyone who is involved, but let's face it...the *real* heroes are the kids, their parents, and the health care professionals who are involved 24/7!!

03-14-02: Today's TMT has me *crying* and *very emotional* :-( I really don't even know what to write or how to write it. So, please bear with me! I'm shocked for one thing, and in the same breath, I am thanking God for having allowed Terry Taylor to be such a big part of my life for nearly 20 years and most especially for continuing to allow it :-)

I can only imagine what Terry is going through right now :-( I deal with heart disease on a regular basis, not only through my job but also on a very personal level with my mom (congenital narrowing of her LAD - left anterior descending artery - with about 60% blockage, which is too narrow for balloon angioplasty or stenting, and recently diagnosed mitral regurgitation). So, I can understand and can relate to what he writes.

A note to Terry: Godspeed to you and may God keep you safe and sound always! I hope I'm considered one of those *true fans* you write of :-) I think I am, but what I think doesn't count! You're very welcome, by the way! Adoring you is one thing I will never stop doing, either! :-) BTW, you can make me mad *any time* you wish :-) I look forward to many more years to come :-) TAKE IT EASY!!!! :-)

02-28-02: Today's TMT was more hoopla over "Vinnie" and "Hulkie" :-( Grrrr......

02-14-02: I just have one comment on today's installment of TMT: Terry writes: Vince respects honesty, he respects a man who stands by his convictions and he told me exactly that. The last thing Vince said to me chilled me to the bone. Vince said, “Terry, this is the real world. Your problem is you’re too honest.” It's pretty obvious Vince's words are double-talk!

I'm pretty much guilty of being "too honest", but I firmly believe being a back-stabbing, lying piece of crap is NOT the way to go *grin*

02-12-02: I'm sitting here once again filled with so much emotion that I can't stand myself *lol* My kids and I were just outside (where I tripped and fell, hitting my shin and knee on a concrete tile we use as a walkway to the car port, and I'm in DIRE pain, to say the least!) when the mailman drove by! So, you may wonder, what's the big deal?

Well, back in late November/early December, my dear friend, Ann, and I were chatting in "Messenger", and I brought up Terry's weekly perspective. She went over to read it and was taken back by it just as much as I was. She "seemed to disappear" for a while there, and then comes back and tells me that she had just written to Terry. She is not a fan and has never really liked wrestling, but she knows me probably better than anyone else :-) I told her I couldn't believe she wrote him and told her that I had written to him once but never got a reply. Then, she lays it on me that she mentioned me and asked him for a special favor, and I about died on the spot. She asked him if he could send me an autographed picture. Honestly, I was embarassed in ways, but her thoughts and actions meant so much to me :-)

I then get a forward from her on December 5 with the subject line of my nickname. I could not believe it when I read it. It was from Terry to Ann! It's PRICELESS :-) He said he would be glad to send me a picture if she sent him my address. She also wrote me a side note and said she had sent him my address! I felt like a little kid at Christmas with this surprise and the anticipation of mail! :-) Ann kept asking me for a while if I had heard from Terry, but I hadn't......

That is, UNTIL TODAY! WOOOOOO HOOOOO! *lol*

I saw this mailer and couldn't imagine what it was or who was sending it -- there was no name on the return address -- I had really given up and forgotten about it. When I opened it and saw the picture, I think my heart stopped beating! I just started screaming, "OH MY GOD!" My son was standing there saying, "Mom, what is it?" over and over again until I finally took the picture out. I think he was as excited as I was *lol* I immediately wrote to Ann :-)

Words can never express my sincere thanks to Terry for such a wonderful gesture :-) My heart is in my throat as I type this! This means more to me than ANYTHING! I will treasure this photo and note FOREVER. The photo is going in a frame RIGHT NOW :-) I say this with much sincerity! Thank you a million times :-)

To my precious "sister-in-kinship", Annie: I LOVE YOU TOO MUCH :-)

What a perfect day, despite the horrible accident I had!!! :-)

01-29-02: I'm sitting here filled with so much emotion and most of it is positive :-) Remember the "shoot video" I mentioned? I received it today, and I just viewed it. I don't know the exact date this was made, but it was rather recent!

Anyway.....kudos to Terry Taylor for this special interview :-) I've read his honesty and heard his honesty in other interviews, but WOW! This has to be the most candid and most honest interview of all time! I've always loved the guy for whatever it's worth -- it's important to me, though :-) There were actually only two things he revealed on the video that I didn't know, and that was something about the time they lived in Dallas and how Jim Ross called him by his middle name -- that was an interesting bit of trivia :-) Everything else I have heard about, but it was still so open and honest! I could sit here for the rest of the late night and talk about it, but I won't. I will say if any of you are interested, seek out this shoot interview on E-Bay. You won't regret it! Not only do you get three segments of interview, you get TONS of matches :-) The tape is over three hours long :-)

Now, there were a couple of comments made that bugged me, the first and foremost being the comment made about "the town, Alexandria, Louisiana" :-( Ooooh! That was awful :-( One of my dearest friends comes from that area of the state (Central Louisiana), and we Louisianians stick together, so those were fighting words *grin*

Actually, I think I understand *why* he said that, but only he knows for sure. I'm assuming it had to do with the lack of privacy he had in that area :-(

The other comment that bugged me was that when he hears someone badmouth good Ol Vinnie, he just wants to kick them! My bad! *lol* I don't want to be kicked by Terry Taylor, but my opinion of VM will NEVER change!

And, the third one bugged me but not in the same way. It made me sad in ways. When the interviewer asked Terry about his fans, he said he didn't have any :-( My only hope is that he was being sarcastic! I hope he doesn't really believe he has no fans -- if he does, then, for one, exactly who am I and what am I doing here? :-(

My ultimate favorite part of the whole shoot was how he glowed when he talked about "the glory days" and spoke so highly of his time with MS/UWF :-) There were no better days :-) So, now I'll ruin the mood and ask what was all that b.s. in the 12-14 TMT? *lol*

Kudos to the interviewers :-)

01-24-02: The TMT is back up this week, and I can barely stomach it. 'nuff said! :-)

I got my tape in of the PPV "Over The Edge", along with "The Life and Death Of Owen Hart" from A&E. Did anyone see this as it aired? I'm curious if the video I have was edited. Owen's match had no introduction on the tape. It immediately went to JR announcing that there was an accident and then showed the audience. Owen was supposedly making his entrance into the ring when the "accident" occurred, so my confusion here is what happened to the intro? Usually, the opponent is introduced first and then the "good guy" is introduced. The opponent was not introduced or anything. Unless the video was edited, it seems suspicious! Enough said!

The biography was excellent but oh so sad :-( Kudos to A&E and The Hart Family! There is a part on there where VM was at a press conference and was so downright RUDE and ARROGANT to one of the reporters. That is the impression I always get from him :-(

I'm still waiting on the "shoot interview" with TT, and when I get it, I'll let yall know what it's all about and etc.

01-16-02: I'm on another soap box today, and justifiably so! I just found out that the "grand jury", and I say that term very loosely, has dropped all charges against "BooRay" in the murder of Chris Adams. To say I am FURIOUS is an understatement! I'm beyond that! I'm beyond LIVID! What is wrong with Texas law?! Quite a lot in my honest opinion! Basically, the GJ based their decision on Chris' past history. They key word here is PAST, no doubt! However, these morons obviously do not comprehend what that means! I'm just so downright mad that I think I'm exhaling FIRE! This act "BooRay" committed and the actions of this really ignorant GJ in the Dallas area sends a huge WRONG message to everyone that it's perfectly okay to grab a gun off your nightstand and kill someone in cold-blooded murder just because "you're mad at them". Give me a break! There were so many loopholes in "BooRay's" stories to begin with, and the bottom line will always be he grabbed a gun and killed Chris Adams in cold blood. Chris was NOT armed with a weapon! What was "BooRay" doing with a gun sitting on top of his nightstand to begin with? If "BooRay" feared for his life, as he chickenly claimed, what was he ever doing hanging around Chris to begin with? He didn't fear for his life. They were "best friends". In his drunken rage, he grabbed that gun and killed a human being "just because". He even admitted "he just wanted to injure Chris in the shoulder" but missed and hit him in the chest. He **knowingly** (CONSCIOUSLY) grabbed that gun to shoot Chris -- that is premeditated in my book! I seriously and highly doubt his "life was in any kind of danger" if he had time to think "I'll grab my gun and shoot Chris in the shoulder." He claimed Chris was choking him to death. I've said this a million times already, but...here goes again....IF anyone knows what it's like to choke or be choked, you know &*&%#* good and well that you cannot function or think about anything other than BREATHING AGAIN! I don't buy his "story" and never will. The bottom line now is that "BooRay" got away with cold-blooded murder, and he has a bunch of morons sitting on a GJ to thank for it! Ironically, that kind of GJ indicted Chris Adams for manslaughter in the death of his girlfriend who plainly overdosed on drugs on her OWN ACCORD!

So, this shows how backwards things are in the great state of Texas :-( They indict a person for manslaughter when he's completely innocent of the fact and don't indict a person for murder when he's clearly guilty of the fact. My head is spinning, as I definitely do not understand their concept on JUSTICE!

R.I.P., Chris!!!!!

Okay, some good news.....Mark at BCW received the tape today that I sent him last week :-) I can't wait to hear back from him :-) I also won a "Shoot Interview" of the great Terry Taylor on E-bay, and I can't wait to get this in. I've never heard of anything like this before, and it sounds just fabulous! I will let yall know when I get it in :-) And, I also won another tape on E-Bay with regards to Owen Hart -- the darkest night in wrestling history -- the PPV that ended Owen's life (Owen's last interview ever is on this) and the A&E biography of Owen Hart. I'm hoping to receive that today!! I can't wait and neither can Mark :-) Needless to say, I'll be mailing another package to him real soon :-)

I just read at The Law that Terry is also wrestling with USA Wrestling. Interesting! I did a search in Yahoo and came up with three sites for USA Wrestling, but they are all amateur wrestling sites. I gotta know...what is it, where is it, and is it on the tube? LOL Someone please let me know :-)

01-12-02: No TMT this week :-( Oh well! I shouldn't be surprised or upset, as this has been a WILD week for me. I worked all of last weekend, 12 hours both days. Then, my dryer caught fire Monday night :-( I was on top of one of the bridges on my way to pick up my daughter and grandson after I left the office when I got a frantic call from my seven year old. I couldn't understand her, and trying to drive and trying to understand this hyperexcited child doesn't mix. I don't know how I didn't wreck! Finally, my 18 yo gets on and asks me where I am, and I told her. She was calm and said "Mom, I think you better come straight home. The dryer is on fire." Needless to say, I started shaking. I didn't want to speed, but I wanted to immediately be home. When I finally get there, windows and doors were open with white smoke pouring out, and my kids were standing outside, barely dressed from just having baths, and it was FREEZING. My youngest was hysterical! She didn't want me going in the house, but I had to go in and see -- I didn't see any fire, but I did see TONS of white smoke, and it stunk to high heaven -- burning plastic. As I came right back out, all the 911 personnel drove up. I was really calm through it all after I got home, surprisingly. We have no idea what put the fire out, but it was out when the firefighters went inside. We were outside for nearly two hours before we were allowed back inside. Thank God, the ONLY thing damaged was the dryer, as you can see from the digital photos below. I'm still amazed that the house didn't catch fire and that nobody was hurt. This one fireman and the gas man said these fires usually happen cause of lint build up, but I just knew that wasn't the case, as we had just changed the belt and cleaned inside. Needless to say, I had to buy a new dryer :-( When it was delivered, my son starting goofing around with the dryer vent hose, and it dawned on me to ask him if the other dryer's vent hose had been connected each time the delivery men had come to bring my new washer back home and/or each time they came to take it back to the shop, and he said "No, I told those guys to put it back, but they didn't". Ugh! I think I wanted to scream! NO WONDER THE DRYER CAUGHT ON FIRE :-( I am HIGHLY upset over that, needless to say, and I still haven't talked to the manager of that company -- when I do, it's not going to be pretty!

I lost my precious Rico during the week, also. Despite knowing he was dying, it hurts like hell :-( He wasn't quite three years old and such a sweet pup (a chihuahua)!

Today, I finally received a tape from BCW -- odd they are in Canada but the tape was mailed in the US. It's the October 10 taping from the night Terry and Cyrus "won" (they didn't WIN -- Cyrus cheated *lol*) the tag titles. Honestly, I tried to watch the whole tape, but I couldn't. This is a "homemade" (aka NOT professional) video that made me dizzy from all the swerves from one scene to another to sideway shots of the floor, the mat, the audience -- get the picture?), and I could not hear much of anything said :-(

So, I FF'd through to the first match Terry was in, which was with Cyrus....who reminds me of one of the WWF characters. Cyrus, I gather is a heel, and was mouthing off at Terry. Then Terry comes through the curtain, and man alive, that was a blast from the past memory (not him coming through the curtain, as I never did, but seeing him in wrestling gear again). Sans him being au natural in hair color and it being a short style, he looks just like he always did.....EXCELLENT :-) I could hear more of what the audience said than the wrestlers or the announcer, and people were chanting for Terry. Other than that, not much happened. Cyrus and Terry played cat and mouse for a LONG time, where Cyrus was scared to get in the ring with him and Terry lay on the mat for a LONG time. They really didn't wrestle much. Others (the tag champs and two others) came in and interferred, and Terry and Cyrus ended up together. Then they had the tag title match *lol* The audience hollered "obscenities at Terry", and the tag champs pretended to be roosters to harass Terry -- that totally did me in. Will Terry Taylor EVER live down the 1988 Red Rooster fiasco ? I guess not :-( Why that was brought in beats me, but I didn't like it one bit. I really don't remember much of what went down during this "match", except at the end when this big old guy came in and wacked a guy with a chair. Cyrus then takes an "unconscious" Terry Taylor and throws his arm over the other guy, and, of course, the ref wakes up just in time to count and give the win to Taylor and Cyrus. That was SO predictable -- very "logical and sophisticated", indeed -- oh no, NOT again *lol* Then the tape ends. The funniest thing I saw and I cracked up over, was the tag champ in the red shirt -- he came out dancing some really stupid looking "dance" and had this really RETARDED look on his face. My son made a few choice comments that I laughed at, as well *lol* And, my oldest daughter comes up and screams excitedly, "Mom, are yall watching the WWF?" I cracked up over that! She asked cause a friend of hers who was there LOVES the WWF!

As for Mr. Taylor....whew! He still has it all! :-) It was, needless to say, FANTASTIC to see Terry in the ring again! :-) Thanks BCW :-)

1-3-02: This week's TMT is great...Terry seems to be back on the right track with his knowledge and wit :-) His mentioning the war with England reminds me of "The Patriot" with Mel Gibson! That also reminds me of the "Battle Of New Orleans"!

LMAO on his NY's resolution! That is hilarious! I do have to wonder, though, did he mean he's going to do the opposite. Ya know, we all make resolutions and end up not following through with them. So, in my way of thinking, if you make a resolution that is the opposite, such as "gain weight", you'll do the opposite and lose weight! :-) My resolutions are the same as they are every single year. I make the same ones each NY's and rarely keep them :-( Maybe this year, however, I'll actually break the tradition and follow-through -- three days into 2002, though, and I'mm NNNOT keeping the promises to myself :-( No matter. I'm just thankful each year to be alive and well. I love life for the most part :-)

We're in the midst of some downright cold weather for these parts. The windchill overnight was 10. We got down in the 20s. We were predicted to have sleet and possibly snow for yesterday with freezing temps and a 60% chance of rain. Yeah, right! What a joke! We woke up to SUNSHINE yesterday morning! *lol* I WANT SOME SNOW!

I have to gripe, though *lol* Work was slow Monday, so I had to take a few hours off. The kids and I took off to everybody's favorite store to blow some money. Here it was the last day of December and Christmas just barely over with, and the shelves are already loaded with Mardi Gras and St. Valentine Day paraphanalia! I couldn't believe it! Of course, I live in a grand state where celebrations are big, but....geez, it would be nice to breathe just a little longer between holidays :-)

I had a very pleasant evening after I got home from the office last night. My new buddy, Mark, from BCW, and I chatted for a good while :-) What a sweetie and a treasure he is! I was in the process of dubbing some VE programs for him, and he mentioned that someone lost his Raw is War "Tribute to Owen Hart" :-( I just happened to have it myself, so I offered to add it on :-)

I just told him in e-mail that I can't believe it has been nearly three years since that horrible "accident" happened and took Owen's precious life :-( Owen was special, and I really adored him from the first time I laid eyes on him. (even though I didn't know who he was -- it was when The Blue Blazer was first introduced many years ago). Watching the tribute again made me so sad :-( Mark Henry, Shane, Triple H, and Jeff Jarrett brought me to tears!

I really can't stand Jerry "the King" Lawler, but when he and JR were both crying it tore me up, as well, and what Jerry said made so much sense and is so wise! Never leave home without letting your loved ones know how you feel!!!!

Seeing again what the WWF calls wrestling, however, reminds me of "logical and sophisticated" and that makes me want to get back on my high horse and SCREAM! I found it in extremely poor taste that Billy Gunn showed his bare derriere on what was supposed to be a tribute to Owen :-( And that guy with "head". Spare me! Yep, that's "logical and sophisticated" *LOL* I'll shut up now, cause if I don't, I'll be here all day ranting and raving! *lol*

Oh, I never got the VE tribute tape, either, and finally, after a heated discussion with the "seller", he sent me a full refund. Grrr......

PS to Mark: Enjoy your video, Sweetie!!!! :-)
