Julie Moniak is an 8th grader at Hanover Central Jr./Sr. High School, where she led her junior high team in scoring with double figures. Julie has the potential to be one of the best ever to play at Hanover and will most likely play varsity her freshman year. Although her height would indicate post play, Julie is very versatile with great ball handling and outside shooting skills. She can play just about anywhere on the floor, which makes her a valuable asset to our team.
Personal Career Highlights

Julie's career highlights include the following:
  • leading scorer for 25-3 junior high basketball team, with a high scoring game of 26 points
  • invited to the Class of 2002 Top 50 basketball camp taking place June 21-24, 1998
  • member of 8th Grade Division Team Champion in the 1997 Hoosier State Games
  • tallied 22 blocked shots during last year's AAU season
  • member of 1997 Gus Macker three-on-three second place team
Goals for the Upcoming Season

Julie's goals for the upcoming season include getting at least 7 rebounds a game, boxing out after every shot, improving free throw percentage to 70% or better, and using her left hand more.
