Our team last year (then playing as the Crown Point Tigers)
ride in the
Crown Point 4th of July Parade as AAU 13U Division II State Champs.
| For the past three years, our team has been associated with the highly regarded Crown Point Tigers AAU Club. Since 1980, that club has fielded a variety of teams in the 10U, 11U, 12U and 13U AAU divisions, and has served as a feeder system for the Crown Point High School Lady Bulldogs basketball program. The Lady Bulldogs have made four appearances in the Indiana high school state Final Four since 1983, the latest in 1997. All four of those appearances led to the championship game, of which two were won consecutively in 1984 and 1985. |
| Due to Indiana High School Athletic
Associationregulations, no more than three members of any
Indiana high school team may participate in a summer basketball program
together. Regretfully for our team, this meant that this season we
had to drop some very talented Crown Point freshman players that appeared
on our 1997 roster. |
| We still retain the core of last year's team, however, and are hoping
to achieve some additional success this AAU season with added talent
at the post. Before reorganization under our new club and team
name, the Crown Point Region Rage, we had a very successful 1997 season
in the 13U division during our last hurrah as the Crown Point Tigers.
