Kips Bay Basketball

FirStep

The FirStep Basketball Program was developed to teach young boys and girls the fundamentals of basketball from October to March of every season. We provide individual skills training, teach teamwork and show the importance of a good education.

Our children need their parents, guardians, and our coaching staff to help insure that your child lives up to his/her full potential. We believe that "it takes a village to raise a child" and a good program to raise a student athlete. We need your support to make the program work. Encouragement and support are essential.

Each child in the program will be required to read an article a week and submitted a report on that article. They will also be required to fill out a journal to help improve their writing skills.

Please contact us as soon as possible because we expect the program to fill up quickly.

Copy of Birth Certificate
Medical Certification
Current Kips Bay Membership
$75 Registration Fee

Payments must be made by certified check or money order

Participant receives:

Reversible Jersey
Shorts
FirStep Bag
Intramural League Award
Instruction in fundamental basketball
