Here are some pointers to help you survive corners.
- Use both brakes when braking.
- Brake before you reach the turn.
Normal Cornering
- Keep your legs in a 12-6 o�clock position with the inner leg up and the outer leg down.
- Lift your body slightly off the saddle.
- Lean into the turn.
Rough Terrain
- Put your legs into a 3-9 o�clock position. Your crank arms must be parallel to the ground.
- Lift your body off the seat.
- Choose either to lean the bike or your body.
- Lean The Bike
- If you lean the bike, keep your body upright. This will preserve your balance throughout the turn.
- Lean Your Body
- Keep the bike upright, this will keep a fair patch of rubber connected to the trail while you turn.
