Rich, Doug and Chris gathered at Foothill College to play. Later we learn that Eric had been on his way to Foothill when the distributor on his car froze up, stranding him on the way to play.

Rich took the lead on the second hole with a par and proceeded to stretch it out all morning. Rich claimed a deuce on hole six, building his lead as Doug went OB up in a tree. At the half way point, Rich was at par with a six stroke lead.

Doug picked up a stroke at hole ten with a par and another at hole thirteen with a par. Everybody managed a deuce at hole fifteen. Doug and Rich carded deuces at fifteen. Doug held the honors position on the tee for the back nine, but lost another stroke to Rich at eighteen as Rich finished with a deuce.

The long Foothill course tested Chris, as he finished with a 67. Doug, with a sub par back nine managed a 58. Rich had a sub par back nine and came in at 53 for the day to claim Winner of the Week. This score just missed the course record low for Foothill II, held by Rich, and ended a long dry spell to his being an individual winner, as he had been tied several times recently.
