A cool, frosty at Serra Park found Nate, Doug, Jim, Chris and Ken eager to have some fun. Doug and Jim started out with deuces on the first hole. Jim and Nate claimed deuces at hole two. Doug and Nate deuced hole three as a leader group formed. Doug and Nate deuced again at hole five. Ken scored the only deuce at hole six. Doug and Jim deuced hole seven to continue the hunt for the lead. Chris managed the only deuce at hole eight. Nobody deuced hole eight as three players failed to par. Doug's four deuces gave him a piece of the lead with Nate at 24. Jim was one back at 25, Chris at 27 and Ken had a 30.
Nate, Jim and Chris all scored a deuce at hole ten. Chrisdid some fenc climbing to retrieve an OB throw at hole eleven. The OB playground caught Nate and Ken's disc at hole fourteen. The final deuces were recorded at hole eighteen by Doug and Jim. That final deuce propelled Jim to a back nine 25 and 50 total, good enough for a victory for the day. Doug's final deuce put the pressure on Jim as he finished with a 51 total. Nate was at 53, Chris had 57 and Ken 58.
