Doug arrived at the last minute to meet Eric for a round at Cuesta I. Eric jumped out to a lead with a triple deuce on holes two through four! Doug fell four behind with a bogey on hole five, before starting a charge with two deuces on holes six and seven. Eric bogeyed hole nine to hand back a stroke. After nine holes Eric held a one stroke lead,

A seesaw lead ensued starting at ten as Doug deuced, then bogeyed, then deuced as Eric played steady par golf.Eric deuced hole 14, and Doug fell behind further with a bogey on fifteen. Doug had the final deuce on hole sixteen, but couldn't pull closer.Eric finished at 25-27 for 52 and Doug was one stroke back with 26-27 for 53.
