Doug and Eric enjoyed a Thanksgiving round at Lakewood park. Eric made the first deuce of the day at hole five and Doug double-deuced holes seven and eight. After sorting out the scattered bogeys, Doug had a three stroke lead after nine. Both players deuced holes eleven and twelve. Then Eric narrowly just missed an approaching car as his disc sailed OB on hole thirteen. Doug deuced holes fifteen and seventeen, while Eric double-deuced holes sixteen and seventeen. Doug bogeyed the last hole, but carded a three under 24 for the back nine. Eric's 2 under par for the back nine, left him at par for the day. Doug's round tallied to a 50, good enough for the Holiday victory.
Jim, Doug and Rich gathered for a round at Oak Meadow. After nine holes, Doug and Rich were tied at par with Jim a couple strokes back. Jim picked up the pace on the back nine to catch up and tie Rich at the end. Rich and Jim - 55, Doug -57. Details are sketchy, because Doug left his golf bag, along with the score card in the parking lot after taking the picture below. Dough...
