November 21th, 1998

The foursome of Doug, Chris, Eric and Rich joined to play West Valley C. Doug jumped into the early lead with a forehand deuce on hole one. Another deuce at hole three increased his lead. Rich charged back with an Ace on the kiosk hole. Eric double deuced holes eight and nine, while Chris also claimed a deuce on hole nine. After nine holes the scorecard show three players tied at 26 with Chris in the 30's.

Eric jumped into the lead at hole ten with a blind round the corner deuce to the lamp pole. Eric and Rich both had deuces at hole twelve as Doug and Chris fell off the pace. Hole thirteen found three players claiming a deuce. Eric increased his lead with a par on hole fourteen, while everyone while everyone else bogeyed. Hole fifteen took a while to play as time was spent throwing balls at Doug's out-of-bounds disc up in a tree over the bridge. Nobody could par the long hole. Hole eighteen found Eric cementing his lead with a final par while everybody else was going OB in the street. Eric finished the back nine two under par while the rest of the group was in the thirties. For the day it was Eric -51, Doug & Rich - 56, Chris - 67.
