Kelley Park found four players, Doug, Jim, Jeff and Sam, ready to challenge the course. Doug and Jim were the first to hit a deuce at hole four. Jim curled a blind shot around a fence for a two, whle Doug converted a long drive into a deuce. At hole five, Jeff nailed a long deuce. Doug claimed another deuce at hole six. Jim closed out the ninth hole with a deuce. With no bogeys and two deuces, Jim lead after nine with a 25. Doug was one behind at 26. Sam had a bunch of pars and one bogey for 28. Jeff had a few bogeys for a 31.
No deuces appeared on the back nine until hole fourteen, where Jim and Jeff both hit. Doug and Sam hit deuces at hole sixteen. Jim had a par back nine for a 52 total. Doug had enough bogey's on the back nine to push him over par to 55. Jeff and Sam finished in a dead heat at 61.
