Four players got the Fall season going again as Chris, Doug, Rich and Eric showed up to play Vasona II. Rich bogeyed hole one while everyone else parred and then Rich parred hole two while everyone else bogeyed. All even after two holes! Nobody parred hole three. Rich took the lead with the first deuce of the day at hole four. Rich followed this with two consecutive bogeys at holes five and six, while everyone else was parring. The water at hole seven proved tough on Chris and Eric and they suffered splashdowns. Rich scored another deuce. Doug and Eric scored deuces on the short hole eight. Doug held the lead after nine with a 28, with Rich 1 behind at 29. Eric had 31 and Chris had 34.
Rcih deuced hole ten to pull even on the leader, and pulled ahead on hole eleven as Doug bogeyed. Doug and Rich matching scores the rest of the way out, including deuces on hole fifteen. Eric had the final deuce of the day at hole seventeen to offset some of his bogeys. Chris had a round evenly filled with bogeys and pars.
After eighteen holes, Rich held on for a one stroke victory with a 54, with Doug one behind at 55. Eric had a 59 and Chris a 64.
