Chris and Sam joined Doug at Golden Oak park, It was the first time around this relatively new course for both of them. Sam carved out the first deuce following a masterful drive at hole three. Doug turned a long drive at hole four into a deuce. Both Doug and Sam were able to hit the post of hole seven in two shots. After nine holes Doug had 25, Sam 27 and Chris 30.

Doug started the back nine with a deuce at hole ten. Doug and Chris both threw deuces at the tower of hole thirteen. Hole fourteen proved challenging for Chris as he sailed out of the park. Sam also struggled getting through the U-shaped pipe while Doug produced a par. Sam scored the only deuce of hole fifteen while Doug closed out the round with a deuce at hole eighteen. Three deuces on the back nine gave Doug a 49 for the day. Sam had 57 and Chris a 64.
