April 17th, 1999

Serra Park was filled with disc golfers. Sam claimed first tee honors as best returning score from the previous week, followed by Chris. Jeff, Jim, and Eric joined the large crew. Jim scored a deuce on hole one, followed by Sam and Eric with deuces on hole two. Sam, Jim and Eric joined the deuce parade at hole three. Starting at hole five, Sam had three consecutive deuces. Eric chased with a single deuce at hole six and Jim scored one at hole seven. Chris claimed his first deuce of the day at hole eight. After nine holes Sam, Jim and Eric were all tied with 24! Chris and Jeff were just a few strokes back.

Newcomer Ray Groth joined the group on the back nine to make it a six-some! Hole ten had five players with a deuce. Ray and Eric continued the deuce streak on the next hole and at hole thirteen. Eric cemented his lead with the only deuce on hole fourteen. Sam and Eric finished with deuces as Eric tallied a 22 on the back nine. Ray scored a respectable 26 to tie with Jim. Chris, Sam and Jeff finished with 28, 29 and 30 respectively.

Eric with eight deuces for the day had a sterling 46. Jim had a 50, Sam 53 (his second best round), Chris 56 (a personal best), and Jeff 61 (also a personal best). Everyone had to be happy with those scores.
