Only Eric and Doug showed up at Cuesta II. Doug got off to a bad start hitting a tree on his drive at hole one. Great drives at hole two produced a deuce for both players. An errant roller by Eric at hole three, went backwards and out of bounds in the street. Matched scores from there out left Doug at 28 and Eric at 29.
At hole eleven, Eric threaded the needle with an awesome drive to make a deuce. Doug came back with a deuce on the utility box at hole eleven. The often pivotal hole sixteen, found both players O.B. Eric finished with a pair of 29's for a 58. Doug fell of the pace, finishing with five straight bogeys for a 31, and a 59 for the day.
