A large gather of six arrived at Oak Grove in Almaden Valley. Tam Wolfe, guest of Doug and mother of Junior freestyle champion, Art Viger, joined Doug, Chris, Nate, Jeff and Rich. On hole one, Nate and Rich converted long drives for deuces, while Chris made a long shot to match their deuces. Doug converted a long shot for a deuce on hole two and another at hole four. Rich scored a deuce at hole five. Nate started a string of three deuces at hole six. Doug and Rich also scored deuces at hole eight. Hole nine gave everyone problems except Nate and Jeff, who made pars. Four deuces gave Nate the lead after nine with a 23. Three deuces for Rich put him at 25, while three deuces for Doug left him at 26. Chris had 28, Jeff a 30 and Tam 34.
Rich started the back nine with an ACE on hole ten, while Doug, Nate and Jeff settled for a deuce. Nate made a deuce at hole thirteen. Rich began a string of three deuces at fourteen. Doug made a deuce on hole fifteen.Chris finished with a pair of deuces on hole seventeen and eighteen.
Rich's finishing rush gave him a 25-22 for a 47. Nate was one behind at 23-25 for a 48. Doug had a pair of 26's for 52. Chris 27 on the back nine for a 55. Jeff had a pair of 30's for a 60 total and Tam finished at 71.
