Jim, Doug and Chris joined to play at Vasona B on a clear morning. Doug knocked down a deuce at hole one to take the early lead. This turned out to be the only deuce on the front nine, as pars were the order of the day with a few scattered bogeys. After nine holes, Doug had a two stroke lead over Jim.

Doug didn't play hole ten very well and gave up both of those strokes as he got a 5 while Jim was parring. Doug and Jim traded deuces, with Doug getting one on hole twelce and Jim one on hole thirteen. Other than that, their scores were the same and the two ended up tied for the day. Final scores: Doug and Jim - 56, Chris 68.
