As usual, Rich welcomed every to his "home course" at Linda Vista. Doug, Chris, Eric and Sam came to challenge Rich though, Eric claimed the first O.B. at hole one as a tree captured his disc. Rich launched his drive at hole three into a tree also. and Sam's drive landed in a tree at hole four. Deuces finally appeared on the scroresheet on hole six. Doug had a drive that landed three feet from the hole, but Rich converted a long approach to actually claim the first deuce of the day. Sam landed on another small tree on the uphill hole seven and on hole eight a tree caught Rich's drive again. Chris was having a solid round, until he joined those suffering from discs captured by trees on hole ten. Doug escaped any O.B. throws on the front nine and claimed a tidy, little 27 on the front nine. Trees added six O.B. circles on the scorecard as Rich and Eric claimed 30's, Sam a 31, and Chris a 34.

Chris followed one O.B. hole with another at hole ten. Rich got off a good drive at hole ten and knocked down a deuce. Eric and Doug had good drives at hole twelve, that left them in range for easy deuces. Eric tried to clear the water on hole thirteen, but had a splashdown in the pond. He was close enough that his next shot connected for a par on the hole with a circle for the O.B. Hole fouteen yielded deuces to everybody but Chris. Chris drive was captured by a tree in the narrowest manner, as it hung by the lip on a trimmed branch. The bad footing on the hillside under this lie, resulted in miscue throw the rolled into the small creek for a second O.B. and a double circle six. Chris shook that off and joined Rich and Doug with deuces on the next hole and continued the streak with a deuce on hole sixteen. Eric matched Chris with a deuce on sixteen also. Rich and Doug claimed the final deuces of the day at hole seventeen.

Rich and Doug both had 23's on the back nine, so Rich didn't make up any strokes on Doug's lead at half way. Final scores were Doug - 50, Rich - 53, Eric - 56, Sam - 61, Chris - 65.
