A continuous, misty drizzle followed Doug and Eric around Central Park all morning. The wind was not a big factor, and no discs landed in the many water hazards, so scores were good. Clipping along with umbrellas and rain gear, Doug and Eric completed the round in 41 minutes, the fastest round that anyone can remember.

Normal hole two was under construction and a make-up hole was played after normal hole nine. Doug opened his round with a deuce at hole one, but two-putted at hole two. He came up with a wonderful deuce across the water and fountain to the sign at hole three, but went OB on hole four and recorded a disastrous 6. Doug had another deuce across the water of hole eight (normally nine). Meanwhile Eric was Mr. Par until the makeup hole where he finally had a deuce to finish the front nine at one under par.

Eric bogeyed hole ten and Doug double-bogeyed hole eleven.. After matching deuces at hole twelve, Eric bogeyed hole thirteen and Doug bogeyed hole fifteen. From a somewhat shortened hole seventeen (we walked across the bridge, instead of throwing across the swollen creek), Doug had an Ace. Eric responded with a deuce at hole eighteen.

On the back nine, both Doug and Eric recorded a par 27. Eric's deuce at hole eighteen, put him at one under par, 53, for the day and claim winner of the week. Doug finished one over par at 55.

Eric's hair is an indication of the wetness
