Northern California has being drenched for days, but Doug and Eric showed up to play. Amazingly at 7:30AM, as it often does on Saturdays here, the rain let up for enough time to sneak in a round of eighteen. Conditions were extremely windy, but only mist was present in the air. Doug and Eric completed the round in 55 minutes! Considering the fact that the scorecard was littered with 5's and 6's, it was of round of speed golf almost.

Doug took an early lead with a deuce going down the ramp at hole two. Doug followed that with a 6 on hole three, while Eric had his own 6 six at hole 5. After a bogey, double-bogey for Doug, Eric had himself a two stroke lead at the half-way point.

Eric got hot on the back nine, with deuces on hole ten, twelve and fifteen. Doug continued to flounder ,finishing with another 32 for a 64 total. Eric came close to par, but recorded a 4 on the last hole for a 55 total.

The rain started coming as the round finished. Doug stepped in pile of dog poop as he walked off the eighteenth hole, definitely indicative of his round for the day. It was too rainy to take a picture. Since Eric was wearing his lucky Dallas Cowboys sweatshirt, here's view of it from a past victory.
