Threatening weather greeted three Deuces, Doug, Eric and John.. Though everyone was dressed for rain, fortunately none fell during the round.

Eric, playing the course for the first time, started with five on two of the first three holes. Only two deuces were recorded, both on hole twelve, one by John on the first nine and one by Doug on the second nine. After nine holes, John had the lead with one over par at 28 and Doug right behind at 29. Eric's fives ballooned his score to a 34.

Eric was the only player whose score improved on the second nine. A 32 brought Eric to a 64 total for the day. Doug and John had a see-saw battle of sorts, but both finished with a 31 on the second nine, to maintain their one stroke separation. John Davis, with a 59 became Winner of the Week, while Doug finished at 60.
