Eric and Doug met for a quick round on a rainy morning. Play was pretty evenly matched the whole front nine. At hole three, Eric stumbled with a 4, but came right back at the next hole with a long drive to score a deuce, evening up the score as Doug parred both holes. Eric could not find his disc on hole seven after obviously clearing the water. Doug fumbled to a natural 4 to stay even with Eric. A pair of deuces by both players on hole eight was the highlight of the front nine. Eric and Doug were both at 28 after nine holes.
Doug fell off the pace with bogeys on hole ten and twelve. Eric strung out a bunch of pars until the eighteenth hole where he had his only bogey. Everything else was a par for both players. Eric finished with 28-28 for a 56. Doug was one behind at 57.
