The developing Coyote Creek course drew a crowd of seven players, Eric, Nate, Doug, Chris, Jeff, John, and Jim Challas. A group of three and a trailing group of four set out on the course with new tee pads. We started out on actual hole seventeen as our first and played the short tees on the front nine, then the long tees on the back nine. Doug and Chris scored deuces on the first hole.Nate scored a deuce on the next hole. No one managed a deuce at the third hole, but Chris, John, Jim, Eric and Nate deuced hole four. Chris and Jim scored again with deuces on hole five.At hole seven, Jeff, Eric and Nate hit for a deuce. and Nate closed out the front nine with another deuce. After nine holes the scores were, Nate - 23, Eric and Doug - 25, Jim - 26, Chris - 27, and Jeff and John - 30.
Jim, in the trailing group, had moved a few of the holes to new positions as his group finished them. Eric was the only deuce on hole ten on the second time around. The next deuces were scored at hole fourteen by Eric and Jim. Eric hit a deuce on hole seventeen and Doug closed with a final deuce on hole eighteen.
Eric had three deuces on the long back nine, for a pair of 25's and a 50 total. Nate with only one bogey on the back finished with 23-28 for a 51. Jim had a 26-28 for a par 54. Doug fell off on the back nine with a 25-30 and a 55. Chris went 27-30 for a 57, John right behind with a 30-28 and a 58, while Jeff wore down with 30-39 and a 69.
