Jim Hauer brought friend Alson Kemp, who joined Doug and Chris at West Valley I. Chris went O.B. on hole one, as Doug pulled out a par and Alsongot his feet wet with a six to start. Scores at hole one, 3-4-5-6! Doug gained another stroke on the field with a four on the long hole two. On the short hole three, Doug, Chris, and Jim got deuces while Alson got his first par. A mixture of 3's and 4's scattered everybody's score for the rest of the front nine. Doug held his bogey damage to three on the front nine for a 29. Jim did likewise, but added a couple of double bogeys for a 33. Chris was one behind at 34 and Alson at 41.
Doug started the back nine with a deuce. There weren't many other highlights on the back nine. Chris lost a disc to the poison oak and berry bushes beside the bridge of hole fourteen. Jim hit a fairly long shot on the same hole to save par. Everybody shot better on the back nine with Doug posting one 5 and finishing with a string of six pars, for a 29-28 and 57. Jim also had a 28 on the back nine, for a 61 total. Chris matched his front nine, 34-34 for a 68. First-timer Alson scored several fours for a 37 and a 78 for the day.

Cheers to Doug as Winner of the week.
