Doug, and Eric greeted newcomer Sam Stowell at Cuesta Park. Sam is a friend of Eric's through work. We teased Eric about skipping the previous week to keep his average under 50!

Doug and Eric scored the first deuces of the day at the second hole and they both claimed another on hole four. Eric moved into the lead with a deuce on hole five. Sam joined Eric and Doug in a star frame with deuces for everyone at hole seven. An ambitious throw by Doug on hole nine, produced an O.B. This left Eric with a two stroke lead with 23 after nine holes. Doug had 25 and Sam a 29.

Doug continued his unlucky ways with another O.B. on hole ten. Doug and Eric carded deuces at hole twelve and hole fourteen was another star frame with deuces around again. Doug still needed to make up some strokes to catch Eric. Doug settled for par after near misses at holes fifteen and sixteen. Sam took the tee honors at hole sixteen with a deuce and followed with another at hole seventeen. Doug claimed the final two deuces at hole seventeen and eighteen and a 24 for the back nine. Eric had 25 on the back nine and Sam improved to 28. Eric took home a one stroke victory with a 48, as Doug's charge at the end left him with 49 and Sam pulled in with a 57.
