Doug, Chris and Rich met at Foothill College on a clear morning. Rich welcomed the players to "his Home Course", but missed his putt at hole one to fall off the pace. Eager to get back in the race, he held onto his disc on his next drive and went over a fence that no one had ever crossed. Judging this to be O.B. he took a six at hole two. This set the pace as Doug moved further in front of the pack with the first deuce of the day at hole four. Doug hit the pole at nine with a long par and was happy to round the font nine with a par, while Rich and Chris found their scores littered with bogeys and double-bogeys at the tough course.

The back nine played tougher for all players, with bogeys being as frequent as pars. Rich and Doug scored 31's on the back nine. Doug's 58 for the day was good enough for an eight stroke victory for the day. Chris had a pair of 38's for the day.
