• Sandy athletes performed well at state league last thursday.  These included N'fa, "Disco" Stu, "Skipper" Matt Woodruff, Jeanette Bowles, Shaun Pollard, Evan and "Porno" McAleer.  The question is....was the constant "go porno" shouts responsible for his withdrawl from the 5km
• Interclub Roundup for 14-11 now on the athletes pages

• Was anyone at interclub on the weekend?  I wasn't so I have no update.......
• The All schools saw Sandy athletes dominate (apologies to anyone I missed....)

• Stuart Laidlaw 4th U20 100m, 1st U20 400mH

• All results (when I can be bothered putting them there) will now be found on the athletes page.  I need pictures and stuff as well so send them!
• Interclub next week (24-10-98) is cancelled, in its place will be a pb meet ....this is due to the officials deciding they'd go and help out the APS.

The following week (31-10-98) is all schools, so we won't see regular competition for "a while"....oh well I guess it's a chance to get in all that training that you "forgot" to do over winter.....

• Dave Appleby placed third in the 5k, in a time of 18-something. Mind you, there wasn't anyone remaining at that stage of the day (in the vicinity of dusk) aside from his fellow 5k nuts running around and around and around and around and around and around and around and around and around and around and around and around and aro (that's the 12.5 times)......Thanks Rhino

• Track Season Kicks Off October 10 Sean McAleer peroxided his hair....to go with the eyebrow ring, this leads to a number of questions such as - Does it help you run faster? Is it regulation team uniform? Do you get more women?

• Dave Appleby issued a challenge over 400m to Rexy......the escort vs the torana......this may be the only way either of them break 58 for the quarter all season!
