STOP PRESS

Sandy Athlete Awarded NBA MVP

In a shock announcement today NBA commisioner Wal awarded this seasons MVP to Evan Rees as it was felt he was the most valuable player during the NBAs lockout season.  Commisioner Wal said that Rees was a model performer throughout the season with averages equal to the other favourites of 0 points 0 rebounds and 0 assists

22-10-98

The round up for interclub on 17-10 is going to be pretty short.

Numbers at Interclub were down, possibly due to there being the prospect of alcohol and gambling at the Caulfield Cup.  But those who did show up were greeted with the opportunity to run a 100 with a tornado behind them.  Standout was "Disco" Stu, whose time of 10.7 was "handy".  Don't know if anyone bothered with a 400m, I know the prospect of running into the gale down the back straight scared me off.  I need some stories....if anyone wants to write the weekly round up, then let me know

This weeks round-up of what was happening at Interclub comes courtesy of Rhino......

Brenno is featured on this year's handbook, albeit in a slightly more hair-deprived state than what most people may now be accustomed to.
Marty turned up to pose about for a while. Also making a guest appearance was Toneza. He really did look a bit under the weather from his (at that time) most recent nocturnal activities.
Reports state that not too long after his arrival he negotiated his
way to the front straight snack shop in order to acquire a hot dog.
The standard of the purchase is not known. Possibly the subject could be coerced into posting a note on the web-page with his early-season appraisal of the fare on offer from said establishment.

This again is typed in print so small as to encourage you not to read it. But you obviously can't be discouraged and are going to keep reading it, no matter what I do. Well then I'd better write something interesting. Did you know that the headlines for the 1999 Big Day Out are Korn and Marilyn Manson....Booooooooooo!
