Members are requested to submit applications via e-mail or by a hard copy of the attached form.

Applications can be sent to the following address:

·        [email protected]

Or posted by regular mail to

·        Bryan Neighbour
105 Bloomfield Road,
Noble Park, 3174.

 To apply:
·        select the application form from this attachment,
·        copy and then file it under club records.
·        If you break or equal a record, fill-out the details, and
·        send to the above address.

It is important to complete all details accurately.

When an application cannot be confirmed, it will be rejected.

The onus is on the applicant.

 ·        Members may also be aware of a superior performance sometime ago but may not have sufficient details, eg Chris ‘XXXXX’, triple-jump, U17, 14.37m won the Australian Title, 1983 and he went to Mentone Grammar School.   So if you send me some of the details on the application form I may be able to dig out the rest of the details and update the records and issue some back-dated record certificates.

There are still several categories without records e.g. women’s pole-vault, 2 hour track walk.  So here is your chance!

 ·        In some events, special record attempts can be made by club members provided notice is given in advance, the attempt is supervised by committee representatives and all AV protocols are followed, e.g. 2 hour track walk.  Any special attempts would need to be in events not usually provided by weekly AV competitions.

A record certificate will be issued to all successful applicants (usually at the club annual dinner) and also listed on the club’s web page.

 ·        The records posted with this notice include a history of progress since 1995.  In some cases, applications have been posted in order of application rather than date set.  Where technical changes have occurred, performances deemed superior to performances with new regulation implements or hurdle heights have been retained as the club record.

·        The configuration of the record tables will be changed soon to provide duplicate listings for outdated implement weights or distances so that the history of club records can be maintained.
