Honours:Recieved the Gator Award for team leadership in 1996 while a member of the Glencoe Club Gators; McGill Principles Honor Roll in 1998-1999
1998-99:Finished in fourth place at the QF Championships in the 50, 100, and 200 breaststroke; swam best times consistently throughout the season.
Prep:Finalist in the Alberta Provincial Championship from 1992 until 1998; Qualified for and competed at Junior Nationals in the 100 breast and 50 freestyle
Personal:Father, Eric Holden, was on the McDonald College Football team from 1965 until 1967 and played for the McGill Redmen from 1967 until 1969 when he graduated from McGill with a Bachelors Degree in Physical Education; Mother, Dorothy Holden, graduated from McGill with a Bachelors degree in psychology in 1972; younger Brother is Dan.
