WHAT'S A BUCK?
What's
a buck? To you, a single dollar bill may mean a cold drink on a hot
day, a tip at a business lunch, a cup of coffee in the afternoon, or a pack
of gun at the gas station. It may mean no more to you than spare change. One
dollar may seem inconsequential to you, but to a college student, one dollar
means part of a scholarship.
The Sinfonia Foundation is launching a scholarship campaign through our 1998 'Whats a Buck?" fund drive. Here is where you and the attached envelope come into play, We are asking you to ponder this thought: If you, and 20,999 other brothers place just one dollar in the attached envelope, place a stamp on the envelope and drop it in the mail, we will have. raised $21,000. That would be enough to fund a $100 academic scholarship to every chapter in the nation. It is just that EASY! Of course, if ynu are inclined to give more than one dollar, that means more college students can receive sholarships and that we can move more quickly toward the ultimate endowment of a Sinfonia Foundation scholarship fund.
We do hope you will consider regular future gifts to the Sirfonia Foundation, but for now help your brothers launch a Sinfonia scholarship fund, Follow your instinctive reaction; remove the envelope; drop in that one-dollar bill and drop it in the mail!

Well we gave it our best shot!! But unfortunatly Marcus Glasgow, our chapter prezident did not win the coveted Mr. UTSA award. But since Mr. UTSA transfered Marcus now takes on the title Mr. UTSA. Anyhow I for one am still proud of him and he will always be my Mr. UTSA!
Thank You Sarah
Bunker for drawing this beautiful drawing for Phi Mu Alpha Sinfonia's
99th Birthday!
