OK.
Well, it's not very hard to see a parallel in history that I am used to hearing about. The difference between the Chinese in Malaysia and the Jews in Russia is small, it's a remarkably similar story. I imagine that it was quite a bit harder for the Chinese, since they couldn't convert, and could be identified rather easily. But see it bothers me that China, though Communist, did little about it, when the Jews in the world, though without a country tried to stop the Russians.
The whole thing gets really strange with a story that, by the time you get this will be old news. Earlier this year, the Malaysian won dipped 30%, and it was blamed on "the Jews." So, being in the land of Jews, I hear about this and about anti-Malaysian rallies, etc, to an annoying extant.
The scale of this bothers me a bit. This country has picked on two minorities. The first 'minority,' the plurality of the world, nearly one-fifth of the world population, and situated in a nuclear powered country, in relative proximity to Malaysia does nothing, as it watches its brothers terrorized. The second minority comprises less than .5% of the world population, one of the most picked on minorities. Their population in Malaysia is and always was close to nil. In an almost humorous story, they are accused of destroying the economy in a place they have little or no influence in. Maybe it's due to practice, but the Jews are pretty quick to point out the anti-Semites.
Maybe that's a good thing. We really don't need another ignored anti Jewish killing. We can band together. But doesn't that show you that something is wrong? That we are up in arms over words of stupidity, while the others' plight goes unnoticed not only by the rest of the world, but them as well?
