September 9, 2001 - After a year of inactivity, I'm back.......not really. The reason I'm back to make another update is that Geocities has informed me that my site is "too popular" and is exceeding the maximum 3 GB per month data transfer limit (view the original e-mail here)......I�ve been checking my guestbook and counter ever so often, so I know that my site has been pretty active even with the lack of updates. However, there should be no reason for my viewers to download over 3 GB's a month unless some users are abusing some of my features. I intended this site to be a study of the many different facets of web design, and I think I at least succeeded in doing that. But because of the changing nature of the net, many of my features (such as the streaming music) no longer work or have changed into something other than my original intention. In order to solve my problem with Geocities, I am removing my copy of "I Will Survive" which has undoubtedly been linked to by some music download site. I am leaving the picture album (the other big bandwidth user) online for posterity�s sake, but may be forced to take that offline also so that I�m not shut down. I�ve done some selective updating on my �Me� page, but other than that, I�m not going to update or remove anything else in order to leave a historical record of what was the height of web page development at the time (i'm really just too lazy). I hope you have fun browsing my site and leave comments in my guestbook.
September 15, 2000 - I have decided after much deliberation to retire my website. I have a heavy workload at school and don't have the time to keep the site running smoothly. Also, I'm diversifying into other areas & other website, so I have even less time to work on this one. I've enjoyed sharing my website with all of my viewers, and I've had fun doing it. This is going to be my last update, so I guess this is goodbye. . .
August 1, 2000 - This website has too much to update, so I'm not even going to try. Instead, I'm going to rebuild the entire site from scratch. It's still on my computer right now, but I'll upload it as soon as it's finished.
July 16, 2000 - I just got back from vacation, but I'm still trying to catch up on all the stuff I missed. I'll have an update up soon.
June 28, 2000 - Just finishing with my two week "School is out, now I get to sleep all day & play all night" celebration. When I saw that I actually had four people sign my guesbook & over 100 hits in this time, I was amazed. Thanks for all the attention. Now that I'm fully into summer, I'll start making updates again. And it's about time too, a lot of this stuff is out of date. Also, i'm taking a HTML programming class at Chabot this summer, so I might learn a few trick that I'll add to the site. Now that i'm done babbling, have fun & take your time browsing my webpage.
June 11, 2000 - Small Update. Still doing my projects and waiting for the break that the AP teachers promised would come after the AP tests in May. Only one more week until summer vacation!
June 5, 2000 - Don't bother me, I'm eating. Well actually, I'm trying to finish all of these stupid end-of-the-year projects, but the same idea applies.
May 26, 2000 - I couldn't figure out what was wrong with the code on the music page, so just gave up and got rid of it. There's still a link to play music, but now it opens up the KOIT live music player.
May 22, 2000 - I fixed up the HTML and uploaded all the pictures, so now the picture album works. I'm still trying to figure out why the music page isn't working, but once I do, I'll fix it, so expect another update soon.
May 19, 2000 - I made another HTML update, so the links look a lot nicer now. But I'm still working on the picture album I promised and still trying to fix the music page, so be patient.
May 18, 2000 - IT'S OVER, IT'S REALLY OVER!!! MY YEAR OF TORTURE AND SUFFERING HAS FINALLY ENDED. Now I get to wait by the mailbox for two months hoping I got a good score. I haven't made any changes in the last 2-3 weeks, but now I'll have plenty of time.

April 26, 2000 - 1,000 VISITORS!!! A thousand hits in only 9 months, not too bad.

April 2, 2000 - I just made a HUGE HTML update. Those of you who were having problems with the site should be satisfied with the results. You better be, because I have so much code stuck in my head, I'll be dreaming in HTML for the rest of the week.
March 27, 2000 - Some more small stuff & a new award on the Awards page.
March 20, 2000 - New Me page.
March 9, 2000 - More small improvements including new links in the links page and the cool intra-site search engine you see above.
February 22, 2000 - I've been overloaded with work for the last few weeks and haven't had much of a chance to work on the site. I've made a few small improvements, but none that are really noticeable.
January 18, 2000 - Finals are coming up at good old SLHS, so don't expect many updates in the next few weeks.
January 17, 2000 - SmartGuy's Webpage is NEW AND IMPROVED.... Added frames, a new background, some new sections (including this one).... & most importantly, SmartGuy's Webpage now comes with music. Just click on the "Play Music!!!" link at the bottom of the menu frame.
