The Gamma Chi Chapter of Phi Gamma Delta
Our Chapter house is located in Isla Vista, California, the prodominately student town adjacent to the University of California campus. Isla Vista is 9 miles west of Santa Barbara and is roughly an hour and fifteen minutes north of Los Angeles. Ther Gamma Chi Chapter moved into the chapter house as soon as construction was complete in August of 1995. It houses 33 brothers, with a kitchen, dining room, study room, and a large recreation room which encompases the entire five-car garage. There is a beach volleyball court as well as a basketball half court.
This house is our third chapter house since our chartering in 1991. Previous houses were located at 6510 El Greco Road and 6510 Madrid Road, both in Isla Vista as well.
