My name is
Dorel Jurcovan and I love Portland. I visited Oregon several time and I
fell in love with it, with its people and the values that these people
cherish. And I love my own city, Timisoara in Romania. That made me think,
could these two cities be connected? I spoke with important people in Timisoara and they support the idea. In May I made a visit to Portland and
I spoke with businessmen, authorities, mass-media, Portland State
University, the Romanian-American Association and again I met very
supportive people. This site is just a summary of all the ideas and efforts
that are done to turn a dream into reality. |
