I suppose every musician has their dream instrument;
the one that has that certain something that can not be put into words;
the one that when you pick it up for the first time has you playing
things that you never knew you could play. Perhaps this instrument
comes along once in a lifetime, in a moment that must be grabbed or
missed for ever. Well here she is, a 1993 Gibson, BB King, Lucille.
A guitar with a heritage that dates back to the early days of electric
blues and rock and roll. A guitar with associations with one
of the world's finest bluesmen. A guitar that, when I held it
in my hands for the first time, felt as if it had been made to measure.
Guitars are a strange phenomenon. Each one is unique and has
its own individual feel that you either love, or leaves you feeling
totally indifferent. I always make a point of picking up and
playing every guitar that I can get my hands on, because just occasionally
one stands out from the crowd and a whole new musical chapter begins.
Which is exactly what happened the day I met Lucy for the first time.

information you could wish for. Or perhaps you would like to

famous guitar at the offical BB King site.
