Basic Gaelic Training
From the public domain library of America OnLine; one of the most concise and useful explanations of Irish Gaelic that we've found on the web. It includes a brief history of the language, the alphabet, verb/noun usage etc. etc. Quite a large resource.

Carmina Gadelica
Alexander Carmichael (1832-1912) travelled the Highlands and Islands for many years in the course of his work for the Excise service. On his travels he gathered and wrote down the oral poetry and song of "our dear lovable people" - hymns, prayers, charms, rituals, incantations, omens and auguries.

Clan Lore - Folklore of the Scottish Highlands
Chapter two of Anne Ross's fantastic and informative as well as hard to find work on the Folklore of Scotland. Contains several oral tales and many hints as to charms, symbolism, and Gaelic culture. A very good read.

The Book of Invasions
The complete Book of Invasions taken from Cross & Slover's Ancient Irish Tales. This is one of the most important tales of our Gods and of our ancestors. Both one and the same.

Tree Dressing at 'The Rag Well' in West Yorkshire - 1908

Refuting the Henge of Keltria's F.A.Q.
Tay refutes the so called 'facts' of 'Druidic' practice carried on by modern neo-pagan 'Druidic' groups. Basically, showing the differing views of the scholarly minded Pagan as compared to those of the NEO variety. More of this type, comparing other Neo-Pagan groups; to come in the very near future.

Tay's Refutation of 'The Truth About Wicca'.
Tay refutes a neopagan that attempted to recruit us for his 'outstanding mystical sites' webring, and when we declined his offer; he attacked us for being 'un-scholarly'. Contained within, are the contents of a portion of his website doling out the 'truth' about wicca and Tay's response. Kind of like bringing a knife to a bazooka fight... Tay counters his farcical claims obtained from neo-new age sources with the likes of Anne Ross, Barry Raftery and other well known and accredited scholars of Celtic/Gaelic studies.

False Churches
A poetic attempt by Tay, to bring understanding of the error of the neopagans, concerning their lack of regard for history and it's meaning to modern Pagan practices.

It's Party Time For 'Druids' -
An amusing and quite accurate article from 'This is London' - June 19th, 1998. This was sent to us from a friend, and it addresses many of the misnomers found in 'neo' Paganism. A short, but good read.

Hystorical Cartoons by Richard Russell
Hystorical... err... Hysterical... no... Historical cartoons portraying the Roman legion's reactions to encountering our Gaelic ancestors. Ancient political humor at it's finest.

Scenes of Scotland
Pictorial scenes sent to us by Beth & Jim Boyle of western NY state; on the subject of Scotland and the Highlands. The Boyle's also run an art & jewelry shop online - 'The Ram's Horn' - of which there is also a link to be found on this site.

Bardic Scribblings
Poetry and verse from Tay and myself, regarding thoughts, emotions, and meditations on the spiritual. Please take note that most of these are a few years old, but I thought that perhaps some may still enjoy them.
