Welcome TO QUESTER'S NEWEST ART WORK

I enjoy bringing you this great colorful assortment of my newest efforts at putting my child-like colorful canvases up for your viewing..

This is one of the better pages of art in Quester's gallery.

Sometimes I wonder about myself. (as does the female above) Do I really think I'm competant enough to call myself an artist? It is most difficult for me to look at some of my work and call it finished enough to put my name and year down at the right hand corner. When is an art work really finished. There are always little things about the picture that needs one last touch. Only occasionally do I really feel that a picture is finished and not needing another day to let it all settle down (my emotions invested in the scene) and think about what the next expression of my feelings will bring about.
Look at this picture of my favorite canine set in a desert (2004) and see what I mean. She just came back from the Arizona desert region and was glad to be again in the Gulf of Mexico area of Texas.

Now this one can only be classified as an attempt at a self-portrait (2004). My wife called it a picture of a man but it's not her husband.
Have you ever tried painting what you remember a scene in a desert in the far north of Arizona might look like? This one my mate marveled over (2004) and thought best of my recent picture attempts.
There was a time I painted a scene along the canals of Venice, Italy back in 1969. . It no longer is around, so I did it over again in 2004.
Again we are in the wilds of Arizona and the guy in the picture is suppose to be yours truly (2004). Nothing like having fun with the environment as well as with myself.

November has been a good month for my painting. I repainted the Russian sled picture that was stolen back in the 80's. Here is the new one in 2004.

I was so taken with the sled scene that I did a larger one and placed it outside of the Russian city named Novgorad. These are two famous churches that you see in the background. I found them unique enough to include them in the new scene 2004.
How about a little fantasy (2004) about horses and women? Then there is a fantasy cowboys have about sitting at the feet of the Egyptian sphinx...2004-

Then there is a Quester's wife (2004) wondering about what she is doing back in the jungle of Malaysia?

Gondoleers are usually happy people who often are found singing as they pole. (2005) Of course there are various ways to show a gondaleer. How about this one by moonlight?
Talk about a happy guy! He just finished another canal scene found in his favorite Italian city. As you can see we are still in Venice (2005) at the well-known red-bridge. I used to eat lunch not very far away from here along the canal.
One more picture of the Venice waterfront area.

So now we move away from Italy and find ourselves in an old deserted Indian village in northern Arizona. (2005) and this time my son Mark is holding the picture.

We do have whooping cranes here in the Port Aransas, Texas area. (2005)

You can tell I am haunted by my lover's eyes. I am convinced that after spending eleven years as a nun she is a saint. Here I see her more as an angel. Consequently, the title of this piece of 2005 art is "Angeleyes", and it certainly fits her.
