Marrow and Colossus vs. Mikhail Rasputin

Plot -
After being pulled to the Hill, Mikhail Rasputin's home, where he took the remaining
Morlocks after the flooding of their tunnels and where he created the Gene Nationals,
Colossus and Marrow find themselves. Mikhail has been given the power of a god, and he
wants to use Colossus's memories of their younger sister, Illyana, to bring her back to
life. Colossus denies her brother. Meanwhile, Marrow is forced to confront the painful
images of her past, the image of being torn from Callisto's arms and thrown onto the Hill
and watching she made her kill to secure her place in Mikhail's army. Colossus attacks his
brother, trying to end his madness, but because of his power, there is almost he can do.
Taking him by surprise, Marrow uses her claws to cut him. Marrow confronts the man that
sent her done the road of darkness, but he doesn't even remember her. Marrow's anger is
too much for Mikhail to bare, and the being that had been living within Mikhail, giving
him tremedous power, is called forth. Mikhail fights off the creature's control, and uses
his powers to teleport the three of them back to Earth. Across the Earth, in Egypt,
Deathbird appears before a mysterious force, but it is struck. She is then kidnapped, and
she disappears. |
