Plot -
Rage, now at a private school on the east coast, tells his class about his adventures as
one of the New Warriors. Meanwhile, in New York, Speedball spends his class time doodling,
imaging what would happen if the New Warriors got back together. Over the East River,
Namorita fights off the villainous Orka, who is an Atlantean criminal. However, before she
can finish him off, Nova bursts in, sending the villain back into the water. Namorita gets
mad, claiming she could have handled it, and runs off with the super-villain in tow,
leaving a bewildered Nova. Not far away in Long Island, Turbo visits the grave of her
former partner, Mike Jeffries. She decides to change her costume, into an outfit that Mike
had designed for her. And she promises him that she will continue to fight on in his name.
In Brooklyn, a young black man hears a strange noise coming from an abanded wherehouse.
Entering, he finds a mysterious breastplate adorned by the head of Medusa. In Florida, the
young man named Chris Bradley boards a bus headed to New York, deciding to take his legacy
and pain away from his family. Just what will happen to these young people in the future? |
