J0achim:Interesting question Jo...actually, I MADE my life to suit my Gorean trends. I am self-employed, and I simply keep my private life very private. I dont interact offline with anyone at this time, from IRC. What goes on behind my closed doors..stays there.

J0achim: I can give you what I believe MY idea of Honor is Jo..whether you can understand it, depends on what Honor means to you.

J0achim:Honor is when a man does what he knows he must, regardless of the consequences...willingly taking the consequences...not knuckling under when he knows his cause is just. Honor is standing alone in a crowd, rather than becoming a part of the herd. Honor is living by the Codes he has chosen. Inflexible when Honor is challenged. And yes, willing to die for what you believe in.

J0achim:I have a similiar code, my friend.. I do understand.

0achim:Many say they know honor....I only know that Honor is intangible, unless you lose it...then...you are simply NOTHING.

J0achim:What about females? Can they have honor?

J0achim: I suppose females can have what THEY believe to be honor..but is it the same as a Man's honor? No..I dont believe so. I believe that women were made to survive at all costs..genetically engineered to breed and procreate, therefore, when asked..are you willing to die for your beliefs..(say, at the point of a gun) most women would opt to survive

J0achim:That isnt neccessarily a bad thing...if women were as hard-headed as Gorean men, we would have died out long ago.

J0achim:Have you read all the books by Norman, Jo?

J0achim:No, I have not.. I have only read a few, and have the first eight on order. I am afraid that I find Norman's writing a bit...pedantic. The underlying philosphies, however, are very enlightening. And I really liked his "Imaginative Sex"...If my wife had liked it, who knows? she might be wearing a collar today?
