It is the only Gappa figure I own, and is one of the ugliest figures in my collection (according to my wife anyway).
It stands about 8 inches tall, and is molded in green vinyl with light blue and white highlights. I think it represents the "Pappa" Gappa. Now I have to find the "Momma" and "Baby" Gappas.
Gappa hails from the film Monster From A Prehistoric Planet also known as Gappa The Triphibbian Monster a 1967 film produced by Nikkatsu Corporation. The video was recently released on home video and is worth checking out.
