The First Generation

(from left to right)
Fahn, Neese, Fleeve, Beld, Karla, Wort

After the second dark age ended, a Golden Age was approaching. The lands of Lodoss were once again united and great progress was being made in science, art, and magic. Lodoss was no longer devastated by its horrific past and the people were now living in peace and prosperity.

But in the dark and broken land of Marmo, rested the dark eternal soul of Kardis, the malevolent goddess of destruction. In the omen of the evil powers that resided in Marmo, a Demon King arose and brought all of Marmo under his domination. The Demon King eyed the accursed island of Lodoss and set forth his demonic armies of darkness to bring Lodoss under his complete rule.

The Demon King had to be stopped, but at the time, there was no army on the land of Lodoss capable of standing up to him. But six destined heroes rose up to face the evil Demon King, and went forth valiantly to fight him and his demonic followers.

These six heroes were Fahn, the King of Valis, Beld, the great knight, Neese, priestess of Marfa, Wort, the wise wizard, Fleeve, the king of the dwarves, and the sixth, a sorceress whose true name was never told... Surely she was Karla, waging her eternal war to protect the balance of Lodoss from being disrupted.

They ventured across Lodoss, freeing those who were under the tyrannical rule of the Demon King and driving back his armies. When the 6 heroes met in the final battle with the Demon King, Beld with his powerful greatsword, slew the Demon King. But in doing so, he was covered in the Demon's blood. With the blood of the Demon King all over him, the once and noble Beld was forever tainted with darkness. Beld's soul was corrupted with evil and the evil spirit of the Demon King was now enchanted in his greatsword. Beld became the new Dark Emperor of Marmo and his sword was now known as the Demon Sword, Soul Crusher.

The 6 heroes became legends. King Fahn returned to Valis where he ruled wisely and was loved by many. Beld took control of Marmo, and ruled as the new Dark Emperor. Neese founded the Temple of Marfa, and is advised and protected by the Ice Dragon Bramd. The Sage Wort secludes himself in his own castle, dwelving in the study of magic. The Nameless Sorceress, Karla, vanished and was never seen again. And Fleeve, although he was killed in the war against the Demon King, he was forever known to be one of the six great heroes who saved Lodoss from being dominated by a great evil.

The Second Generation

Etoh, Slayn, Parn, Deedlit, Woodchuck, Ghim
It has been 30 years since the first generation of heroes and much has changed. Lodoss, the Accursed island has been ravaged by war for thousands of years, and now an evil unlike any before is awakening across the land.

Beld, as the new Emperor of the dark island of Marmo, has eyed Lodoss for 30 years with intentions of conquering it. At his side are his two followers, the Black Knight Ashram, who awaits his Emperor's orders, but also has ambitions of his own and the Dark Wizard Wagnard, advisor to Emperor Beld, but also schemes his own plans behind the scenes. Beld sits in his fortress, poised to stike with an army of monsters and evil dragons. The only obstacle standing in his way from conquering Lodoss is the mighty Kingdom of Valis and its wise ruler, King Fahn, his once closest friend. Two who were once best friends, will now engage in a war for Lodoss. But as the two kings prepare for battle, the mysterious Grey Witch Karla, sits back and watches, waiting to work her plans. She allies herself with Emperor Beld, but it's clear she has plans of her own.

But as destiny plays its role, the island of Lodoss once again gives birth to 6 heroes. Among these heroes are...Parn, a young fighter who has the potential to become a great knight but lacks the experience. He is destined to become a legendary hero and is determined to redeem his father's tarnished name; Deedlit, a young and haughty elf who is attracted to the young fighter but is infuriated by his lack of interest; Ghim, a grizzled old dwarf warrior who takes up the task of training Parn but is also on his own quest; Etoh, a young priest of Falis and childhood friend of Parn who helps Parn find his path; Slayn, a wise and skillful sorcerer and a good friend of Ghim who decides to help Ghim on his quest; And Woodchuck is a cynical but good-natured thief who eventually becomes good friends with Parn.

Man against wizard. Dragon against dragon. Light against darkness. Six who barely know each other, must learn to work as one. They are destined to become legendary heroes as they venture together, facing enemies and making allies. As a new war for Lodoss begins anew between Fahn and Beld, the outcome of these new 6 heroes will determine the fate of Lodoss, the Accursed Island.
