Ashram & Pirotess - Dark Love
Ashram & Pirotess

LoyaltySacrificeLoveDeath

Their meeting was fate...Their fate was destiny...Their destiny was love...
This is the story of the beautiful Dark Elf, Pirotess, and the Black Knight, Ashram. Their love was like no other, for it was born in the shadows and died in the light. When they met, it was out of respect for each other's capabilities as a warrior. It seemed like they had no interest in each other, but deep down inside, they knew there was an attraction between them.
Even villains can fall in love.

Pirotess returning to Ashram It started out with an act of loyalty from Pirotess. Before going out on a mission, Pirotess made a small wound on her arm with a dagger. As a promise to Ashram, she said, "I will be back at your side before this wound heals." And so, Pirotess went forth on her misson as Ashram waited for her return. As she promised, she returned to his side before the wound healed, proving her loyalty and secretly showing her love for him. Ashram, aware of her feelings towards him, covered up his own feelings for her, by saying to Pirotess, "Even a scratch can prove to be fatal. It should serve you well to know that." Pirotess, having heard that from Ashram, said nothing in return and stared at her wound.

After that, they set forth on to their next conquest. With a small band of Marmo forces, Ashram and Pirotess ventured to Fire Dragon Mountain in hopes of retrieving the Scepter of Domination. But little did they know that King Kashue, accompanied by Parn and others, was headed for Fire Dragon Mountain as well with intentions of slaying the Ancient Dragon, Shooting Star. They were armed with 3 Dragonslayer Lances of Myrii, which legends say have the power to slay even an Ancient Dragon.

Saved by Ashram, Pirotess hangs on the edge of a cliff Realizing his ambitions, Ashram was able to retrieve the Sceptor. The two parties of Ashram and Kashue met in the volcano and clashed in a battle. But Shooting Star, one of the Ancient Dragons and guardian of the Sceptor of Domination, sensed it had been stolen and went after Ashram to take it back, cutting the battle short. With the Sceptor of Domination in his hand, Ashram realized the magic of the Sceptor controlled the Ancient Dragon. Unable to resist the magic, Shooting Star could not attack him directly. With his ambitions getting to his head, Ashram confronted Shooting Star. But Shooting Star cleverly attacked Ashram indirectly by smashing his tail and wings on the volcano, causing it to collapse. Pirotess, thinking on her feet, saved Ashram by pushing him out of harms way. But in doing so, she fell over the edge of a cliff. Ashram dropped the Sceptor of Domination as he desperately saved the one thing he ever loved, Pirotess. But one of Wagnard's followers grabbed the Sceptor and teleported away, revealing Wagnard's true plan. Shooting Star, now free of the Sceptor's control, began to attack the intruders. With the Dragonslayer Lances in hand, Parn, Kashue, and Orson, struck the Ancient Dragon using its enchanted power to slay the beast. Shooting Star furiously breathed out a fireball aiming straight for Ashram.Pirotess protecting Ashram from the fireball But Pirotess, being loyal to Ashram, sacrificed herself and jumped in front of the fireball using her magic to protect them from the flames. Although Pirotess used her magic to deflect most of the fireball, the blast was to strong and Pirotess ended up dying to protect Ashram. Ashram caught her in his arms as she fell. Dying in his arms, Pirotess proclaimed her love for Ashram. Ashram, with the dying Pirotess, whispered her name quietly and hugged her tightly. By doing this, he showed his true feelings for her. Pirotess, before dying felt Ashram's affection, and used the last of her strength to smile. She died happy and quietly in the arms of her love.

Ashram, with Pirotess in his arms, awaits their destiny

As the volcano continued to collapse, Ashram stayed there, kneeling down and embracing Pirotess tightly in his arms. He had lost Pirotess, the only thing that he ever loved and decided to die with her. Parn, safe from the falling rocks, stood there looking at the silent Ashram. As the ground collapsed from under him, Ashram waited there, willingly accepting death and his destiny...

Ashram holding the charm Pirotess wore on her forehead "Is a man's path really of his own choosing?", said Karla to Ashram. Ashram, awakening at the familiar voice finds himself at the base of the ruined volcano. He is alive and well, wondering how he survived. Karla, the Grey Witch, had resurrected him as part of her plan. Having been changed by the death and sacrifice of Pirotess, Ashram swore vengeance on all. Vengeance against Wagnard and vengeance against Parn whom he blames for the death of Pirotess. Unknowingly that Karla had also resurrected Pirotess, Ashram set forth to get his vengeance. But according to Karla's plans they will one day meet again. Although that is another story that is still yet to be told...
