14th September 2002 is marked as the golden day in the history of YMCA. This auspicious day saw the congregation of YMCA alumni who have carved out a niche for themselves in almost all spheres of life and have reached the zenith. The function started with a grand welcome of such renowned personalities. Nostalgia loomed amongst them upon meeting old batchmates. They went into raptures upon meeting each other. The center of attraction for the elite gathering was Mr. Rakesh Bharti Mittal, the senior head of Bharti Telecom.

Saraswati Vandana at Shakuntalam, the Open Air Theatre of YMCA set the ball rolling for the rest of the events to follow. Our respected Director Sir Dr. Ashok Kumar Arora invited Mr. Bharti Mittal to guide the youngsters with his wise words on the scenario of the placement situation. Sizzling performances by our dancers, actors and singers enthralled the visitors. Cherry on the cake, the eve was enlightened by the JEEVA education system which unveiled several avenues for dealing with the educational problems.

A surprise visit by media personality Mr. Shashi Narang added to the dazzling glory of the crowd. He was requested to speak a few words when he mused over memories of the past and sang a few lines on the audiences' demand.

The question have proved out to be a golden opportunity for the fortunate ones from final year to quench their thirst on issues regarding placement, questions were aimed at knowing ways to consummate the placement value of the college and the seasoning required in the quality of education imparted to the students to make them the most sought after by the top notch industries, the leaders at the gathering gave a satisfactory response and even promised jobs for a fixed no. of students each year.

Our Director Sir thanked all members of the MOB for obliging the institute with their benign presence and for making the placement of the first step on the road to Zenith, successful. Eventually, the grand event came to an end with a appetizing dinner. This event provided a platform for the students to come forward, discuss their problems with veteran industrialists and to embark upon the way to name and fame.
